Now, if you take Visa (or use a gateway like Stripe that supports taking Visa), you need to do the following:

1. Let customers know they will re-billed or auto-billed very clearly
2. Provide a very simple, online way to cancel the re-bill/auto-bill
3. Provide a clear, advanced notification of the re-bill/auto-bill 7 days in advance.

Overall, I think this is great for consumers, and will give honest producers a more level playing field. And I'm thrilled it's coming from Visa and not the government. (Yay free market).

What do you think?

If it 1.) reduces the number of chargebacks due to people forgetting about trials and 2.) gives merchants more ammunition in fighting said chargebacks, then I'll be happy about it.

Love everything about this.

A business should be doing all of these things anyways.

Nothing is more a irritating customer experience than making it impossible to simply cancel.
