Hi, I am looking at honing in on a new Real Estate venture in the southern USA. I am a co owner in a Michigan and Ohio Real Estate investing company. We 0wn 104 units of mixed properties. I am looking to start another business in Arizona, Texas and or Florida. I am a Canadian living north of Toronto and work at a Nuclear plant in Quality and Oversight. I want to move to the USA and prefer the south. I look forward to using this Forum and the wisdom of MJ's Fastlane approach / principles to propel me to the next level and make Real Estate full time by the end of this year.

Welcome aboard. I only have experience with buy and hold for real estate. We don't own our home and as such have seen a broad array of contractors come fix stuff in the houses we rent. My general impression is that the houses here are total junk and the quality of labor is generally abysmal. I'd be leery of hiring locally for any fixing and flipping.
