Well, a little over 3 years ago I bought my work van for $1300..... I had to call hospice for her today. I sure loved that ol' van but, it's time to move on (rack & pinion went out). Not bad, just over $400 a year and all I did was change the oil, tires, brakes & battery (all normal maintenance). Not 1 problem and never a break-down. I might move up to a $2500 work van this time and see how long it will last. Once again, this goes to show you, you don't need a new vehicle. Sure it needs to look nice but very rarely does the vehicle you drive have anything to do with your business..... except in YOUR eyes.

Minivanman could be taking this action because of limiting beliefs.

Limiting beliefs are why people who love their vehicle so much yet replace it when the cost of a repair exceeds another vehicle. Despite loving their car to death, they still do the purely economic choice because limiting beliefs.

Best Van made was the Toyota Previa. Ran for ever and fit the whole nation inside.

Too true! I got wrapped up in mistaken my perceptions as business needs... when in fact the only thing my clients cared about was having fun and getting results.

I actually drove one of these. It was my first car (as it was the oft unused family vehicle that wasn't a daily driver).

Unfortunately we weren’t rich. We did have the LE model, which meant nice rims. And all-trac (AWD). That’s about as fancy as it got.
