I am trying to decide what to do with my company. Long story short, my company is an industrial warehousing company in WV turned commercial real estate company. That change happened about 10 years ago.
I currently have two options. Option one is to stay in WV and restart/operate the warehousing company. I have a client that, if they use us, would require up to 75% of a 200,000 sf facility for their warehousing needs. That client could be used to spring us back into operation and help regrow the business. Option two is to start selling properties in WV with the intention of reinvesting in the Pittsburgh area. The building I plan to sell is worth a conservative $4m, and would allow me the opportunity to invest in a much better economic area. I also want to opportunity to leave WV in the next 2-3 years.
I'm going to need to list some criteria for this decision. I think an active discussion on this forum would help me get a solid list of criteria that I can then weigh and score to help make my decision. Please ask any questions!
