    Another App Developer

    INTRO
As you know, it's a tough market to be in. Not to mention, if you don't have 1 or 2 stand alone apps/products, your kinda at the will of the market. You can either create a few apps a year and the collective revenue could support you (like @_DavidSmith on Twitter) or have one solid app and...

How to Learn Code, Start a Web Company, $15k+ per month within 9 months

    GOLD! SIDE HUSTLE
Think of it like music, the best music is copied and improvised on. Take out the best parts you like and build on that. Think about whitespace, font color and spacing, color, content presentation. I think of it like this: if my 4 year old or 80 year old with Parkinsons can navigate through the...

You've gotta keep working at it. Look at inspirational sites: AirBnB, Artsy, Facebook, ZenGarden. Find the inspiration! It's like a big ole pile of legos! You don't know what's going on at first, but when you start putting it all together, magic happens.

I wanted to add to the thread. I found a cloud hosting/deployment company: zeit.co I plan on using them for my services. Also check out Semantic-UI. It's a fantastic alternative to Bootstrap with better "class" names and some very nice material type components. Very sexy!

    Producerism vs. Consumerism

    MINDSET
I pivoted this year after some serious brainstorming. I'm working on web development now. Learn React and build about 4 websites. That's my plan. I think I'll gain quite a few "evangelists" to advertise my skills for free.

    Producerism vs. Consumerism

    MINDSET
I agree! Entrepreneurship has more upside and possibilities for me than an employer can offer. I've believed that ever since I've started my journey. I'm 39. Now is the time to get it done!

    Producerism vs. Consumerism

    MINDSET
With all the free time I have now(because of losing my job), I've been "hitting the books" hard! I'm very close to completing my Udemy course on web development. I thank the good lord that I had a 401k to keep me afloat during this time. It's given me an opportunity to develop new skills. But...

Do You Work Your a$$ Off So Your Kids Don't Have To Struggle???

    HOT!
For me, it's giving my family and I the best lifestyle possible. All the while, teaching my children how it works through examples and communication. Having the ability to give my children better/more options in life is very important to me and my wife.

Have you had your "FTE"? (Or Was it an FTM?!)

    GOLD! MINDSET FTE CHAT
Thank you, @Maxboost. I appreciate it. It's harder on my wife than it is on me. I have a few options but I like the one that I can control (knuckle down on web development). I'll keep you updated. Maybe starting a progress thread will help.

I don't know if they need to re-key all the locks. It would cost the company $10k+. As for my wife, she loves the stability of a paycheck. I'm going to work my butt off to avoid doing that!

    GOLD! MINDSET FTE CHAT
My FTE just happened last night (6/20/17). I was terminated from my employer for accidentally taking the pit keys home with me. I'm a Pit boss at one of the local casinos here in Mississippi. I'm a day one employee with a great work record and ethics. The keys were "controlled" and opened...

I would be interested in that! I know that there are "quicker", "easier" ways of building websites/apps, I want to learn how to do it from scratch. To know what the code is, how it works, and be able to scale with usage.
