    House Flipping Bookeeping

    SCALING CHAT FEEDBACK
I'm currently using Quick Books Online, our CPA made it seem like it is easy to do, maybe I am just frustrated with it because I took forever to set it up and now I am playing catch up.

    House Flipping Bookeeping

    SCALING CHAT FEEDBACK
I am building my house flipping business and it is becoming VERY apparent to me that in order to scale and also keep my sanity, I need a bookkeeper. In the past I always did things myself but not the best. I am changing things this time around (Sold my assets in the business years prior) but I...

    House Warming Gifts

    MINDSET
Today my wife and I "officially" start our house flipping business. I put this in quotations with a heavy grain or seven of salt because we have had a real estate investing business in the past. We flipped and help a few houses but never officially flipped just to sell until now. We put this...

ADHD and stock trading - My personal Journey

    INVESTING
The % up/down aspect may not be correlated to ADHD but I am going to try to find out. I do know my ADHD plays a role in how I do things for sure however.

ADHD and stock trading - My personal Journey

    INVESTING
I will cut to the chase. I have ADHD bad. Well I used to so to speak. I am against pharmaceuticals for my symptoms and ailments but I have made my own "brain stack" to be able to calm the noise in my mind over the past 6ish months with great results. What I am noticing however is that my ADHD...

Lately for me it has been youtube and IGN. I recently bought a switch and am playing through old childhood favorites but stumped on certain levels.

    The path begins

    INTRO
Hey Mike! I am intrigued by your proposition. My workplace has a real sticking point with training new employees, at least from the health and safety side of things (my area of expertise). I may be interested to hear what you have to offer and I could pass it up the chain so to speak. That...

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Random Chat Thread...

    CHAT - AI -
I know my workplace is heavily involved in copilot at least in some aspects. I personally rarely used it. I wonder if they will steer clear of it at this point too.

Any runners? Breathing life into myself

    HEALTH
Dependent on where I am at in the book as of right now, I am focusing heavily on not focusing on my breath in every day runs. I make sure I am always nasally breathing, and when the pace picks up, I force my tongue into a strong suction into the roof of my mouth. I used to struggle to get a 5k...

How a $2 "life hack" changed everything. Thank you MJ!

    GOLD! HEALTH NEWSLETTER
I came across this on X, I LOVE this idea but for myself personally, I feel I am in a place in life where I need to be cutting out noise. I am an ultra-runner and already track a ton of data for that, and my job. Add in building up a new business, I need less noise. I know I would end up being...

Any runners? Breathing life into myself

    HEALTH
I will cut to the point. I am an ultra-runner, I have ran 4 50k's with my eyes set on 100,200 and maybe even 300 mile races +. The thing is, I will be running a relatively slow pace for myself uphill or even a quicker than usual pace and get extremely out of breath. I did some digging into...

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Random Chat Thread...

    CHAT - AI -
I'll jump in on my 2 cents of AI utilization. I was definitely skeptical about utilizing AI a few years ago when ChatGPT was all the rage. A friend at work told me about it. I very cautiously explored it. It was definitely a life changing moment for me. Since then I have Built out my...

First update in a while — slow progress, a big break, and some honest reflections

    EXECUTION STORY
I think the biggest take away is that the progress isn't in the perfect planning, the perfect business plan, the perfect team or even perfect product. The progress and success is in the doing. I had a few small businesses fail esentially due to my own lack of grasp on my personal finances at the...

Undercover Billionaire season 2: Lessons and takeaways

    CHAT
I find this very refreshing to come to and see. I am new here to the FLF, and somewhat new to undercover billionaire season 2. I watched a few episodes of it when it first came out and loved it but never finished. I think it had to do with failing in the businesses I had at the time (more so...

0 - Billionaire Without Creating Anything

    EXECUTION
There is a phenomenal trader I view as a mentor. He is always touting the saying, don’t rush in on mining for gold during the rush, sell the shovels. Levi Strauss was a great example of that.
