The Millionaire Fastlane T-SHIRT (to spread the word)

    MARKETPLACE
Dude, look - although we normally would leave a marketplace thread alone, since someone has paid for it - you should also take the feedback here for what it is worth; 1) The thread has now gotten more exposure/views than it would have without the controversy 2) When a product idea is bad, your...

    Golf Putting Aid

    EXECUTION
Reason is simple; The PaintBrushCover is at the very least patent pending, and has probably one or more full patents underway (or already perhaps, Sal could answer that). When the Sharks (mostly Kevin) says "what's stopping someone from making the same thing?" you will notice that they are...

9 'Slap-Your-Face' Lessons You Need to Learn from this Shark Tank Success Story

    GOLD! MINDSET
Damn... you write a lot of good posts, @MJ DeMarco but this is one of the best in a while. #4 is definitely so true. Yes... there are sadly critics for anything and everything. And the ironic thing, like you touched upon, is that these same people are more often than not jealeous misfits who...

Eskil's Progress Thread: Starting a Supplement Business from Scratch

    EXECUTION
No I only sent paid traffic to my own landing page. The downside to sending ppc traffic to Amazon listings is that you will have no way of tracking performance and ROI (since Amazon doesn't provide you with any data). So although you can do it, and you might get increased sales - you wouldn't...

Eskil's Progress Thread: Starting a Supplement Business from Scratch

    EXECUTION
I haven't gotten around to re-order still (right now I need to give the StayblCam all my time and effort). But to answer your question; For traffic I used a combination of paid traffic (Adwords + Bing), plus a bit of social media, and a press release.

    prototype production

Not sure what they stand for, but it doesn't really matter. They are just file format extensions just like .PPT .ZIP and .JPG You only need to worry about having someone with CAD experience take your original drawings and create one of those file formats for you. Oh I didn't know that. Yeah in...

    prototype production

What I did was use CNC machining for the initial small batch of prototypes. Works well for both metal and plastic, and will give you very exact accuracy, tolerances, and smooth surfaces. For 3D printing, those attributes aren't always there but it depends on the printers used of course. Find a...

Shark Tank - What Do YOu Think Will Happen????

    OFF-TOPIC
Oh man, I wanted so bad to say how it went - BUT of course I would have NEVER dreamed of leaking it in respect of Sal and the guys! You would have had to pry the answer from my cold dead hands, lol.. How did I know? Well, I actually got a spoiler alert almost a week ago when I found out that...

    OFF-TOPIC
Just think, within the next hour... Sal's life as he knows it will change... :) :) Oh and, I'm pushing even more people on another forum to watch the episode as well; http://www.wickedfire.com/shooting-shit/179592-good-friend-mine-shark-tank-tonight-dont-miss.html

Shark Tank - What Do YOu Think Will Happen????

    OFF-TOPIC
*BUMP* Only 2 hours until the EST airing now... (Sadly, us west-coasters have to wait an additional 3 hours) My whole family (plus in-laws) will be watching this along with us (with snacks and drinks), as I have updated them all on Sal's journey since he first started this progress thread.

Is affiliate marketing as bad as MJ made it sound?

    MARKETING
To the first question - yes IF your goal primarily is to learn the ins and outs of online marketing, paid traffic, etc. But treat it not as income you can rely on to pay the bills, but rather as leftover money you can use to fund your real business once you feel like you have learned what you...
