    IDEA FEEDBACK
Yes, dogs definitely have their own smell and in my experience, most of the time it's noticeable but not off-putting. Our one dog had a very unpleasant smell and his fur was just gross - I felt bad because I didn't even want to touch him. We would give him baths every week, but two days later...

Thank you so much, heavy! I always appreciate the level of thought and time you put into your replies - really makes this community shine! Okay, cool, I get what you're saying. I was worried that by being too vague people wouldn't be interested, but at the same time I felt I was being too...

Do you think you could host your own event around the cookbook? Perhaps ask that local restaurant owner if you could use his space/kitchen to host a cooking class/demo? Or do you have a local community commercial kitchen you could use? To me, it sounds like you're having trouble distinguishing...

To anyone feeling discouraged because they live in a small town

    MINDSET
For me, the biggest hurdle with relying so heavily on the Internet was that being new to the entrepreneurial mindset I was focusing on problems around me, and while I saw a lot of areas needing improving in this place, I also felt most people wouldn't care or wouldn't be able to afford whatever...

To anyone feeling discouraged because they live in a small town

    MINDSET
I live in a town of ~8,000 people and there's not much money flowing here. As I've been working on building my dog-training side hustle that I'm aiming to grow into something bigger, I've felt hindered by where I live at times. But here are some things that I've come to realize and appreciate...

    IDEA FEEDBACK
I've been building up a dog training side hustle that has been going fairly well, especially for being in a town of ~8,000 people. One of my dogs was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October last year and ever since then I've been researching like crazy. I've come up with a feeding regimen that...

Other than put your cookbook on Amazon and fiddling with advertising, what have you done? What have you done to promote it? Are you engaging in vegetarian/vegan communities near you, on social media, etc.? What exactly do you mean when you say you're being productive and getting work done?

That is so wonderful to hear - I'm glad there's some value to be found here. I was hoping to encourage those having a hard time getting started or feeling lost. Oh I see, I think I misinterpreted you a little bit. There's nothing wrong with picking up a skill out of interest because it can...

Hey there! Thanks for the congrats and taking the time to read some of my story :) I had started studying Python because other team members in my 9-to-5 were already using it for some fairly established projects. In my field, Python is well-liked because it's open source/free, and can handle...

Yeah! I was starting to dig deeper into Google Ads and I found there was a lot that goes into it. So I watched your video a few times to start getting familiar with the terms and figure out where to start. I explored the keywords planner a bit and was just about to sign up for your monthly...

I've watched that one a handful of times :) I would probably feel better about doing something in that format where everyone is online rather than trying to talk to a bunch of people sitting in a room together.

Thanks, Andy! I haven't quite jumped into online presentations yet - something about in-person just feels better, but perhaps I'll try out an online audience sooner rather than later. My grandma used to live in a gated community if Florida and still has a few contacts there, so maybe I'll try...

2/12 2024 I was invited to give a lunchtime seminar on dogs/dog training at my local university and doctoral alma mater. It was a lot of fun! Takeaways: I'm not terrible at giving presentations on little sleep, excessive amounts of caffeine, and with zero practice runs. Could definitely have...

    A Traditional Relationship Matchmaker Group

    IDEA FEEDBACK
What is your definition of "traditional?" How are you going to determine if someone is "traditional" enough for the program/group? Not all wealthy people are nice people, and not all poor people are, as you put, assholes. It seems your only requirement is based on how much a man can pay. Why...

12/12 for 2023 Not much new to say for December. Well, not really in terms of business. My partner and I were a bit impulsive and reckless ... I decided to adopt my grandma a Chihuahua and then we saw allllll the other dogs at the shelter needing homes, so we ended up brining home a German...
