    That's the thing. I'm not afraid of working hard. I worked my a$$ off since starting med school. I merely want to work smarter. I want to look for multiple opportunities to turn my hard work into something passive as opposed to active income.

    Because it's within his knowledge spectrum. Its very difficult to start a business in an industry you know nothing about, especially as a first time entrepreneur. I'm not saying he has to STAY in the industry, but if you're familiar with it, its a good starting point to learn the ropes.

    You'd be suprised. There's no reason why he can't turn that into a book or youtube channel. Where I am, the helping-ppl-get-ahead-academically is a HUGE industry.

    I can answer this one. I did shifts for 7 & a half years. The older you are, the harder it gets. I didn't really notice the 'getting fat' part, but feeling more tired, definitely. I think its doable.. For a while. But longterm? No. If you're doubtful you'll keep your current job, go for it...
