HOT! CHATI'm not saying that you're wrong, but don't dismiss the book too much. Not to sound too cynical, but you either use power or people will try to use it on you as you go through life. The book is great at showing different power plays and how they've played out in history. If you're going to...- Boogie

Needs to be said... sell the DAMN motorcycle.
HOT! RANTAn acquaintance had an accident with a motorcyclist last week. He was stopped at a stop light in his car. A motorcyclist ran full speed no brakes into the back of his stopped car. He said the motorcyclist was pretty busted up with a jacked up leg and a neck brace and he wasn't all there...- Boogie

The Age of Making Money is over?
HOT! OFF-TOPICDon't worry about it. He isn't actually telling you there is no opportunity. It's just dry satire. Needs to be said... sell the DAMN motorcycle.
HOT! RANTYes, numerous factors. Numerous factors outside of your control. https://injuryfacts.nsc.org/motor-vehicle/road-users/motorcycles/ "Although motorcycles make up only 3% of all registered vehicles and 0.6% of all vehicle miles traveled in the United States, motorcyclists accounted for 14% of...- Boogie

For those who haven't made a sale yet...
NOTABLE! HOT! CHATA way to get going if you're having trouble if you want to sell a service is to look at other social media venues where you can make an offer or respond when someone says they're looking for something. For example, a kid in my area offered to do power washing posted on nextdoor. Was it a...- Boogie

For those who haven't made a sale yet...
NOTABLE! HOT! CHATTo expand on what Vigilante said, this licensed contractor gave a lot of info on performing home handyman services. He generally just does videos about DIY projects and skills. (Great DIY channel, BTW) He did several episodes on making money with service offerings using skills you have or can...- Boogie

HOT! CHATWe don't have one of those grills, however we do grill pizzas very successfully. We use an old char griller charcoal grill we already had and a couple of round pizza stones so we can do two at a time. We just close the lid and open as necessary instead of having a slot to look through and...- Boogie

What improved your life so much that you wish you did it sooner?
GOLD! HOT!I would have found some way to marry my wife sooner and built our lives together better and stronger sooner. Removing myself from a relationship in my family is good, but has been messy and expensive. I should have ditched any relationship with part of my family sooner and avoided the massive...- Boogie

Where (and how) did you meet your spouse?
MEETUPSSchools can be great. My life definitely got better after the all boys private high school. Though while I was there, I had a relationship then with a girl at a school for refugees where I volunteered. She was fantastic, but was deported. I met my wife in calculus class in college. Alcohol drinking habits
HOT! MINDSETTo me, drinking booze to try to relax or feel better is the start down the slippery slope. I've been around too many alcoholics in my life and seen trail of destruction they've left in their and their families lives, the deaths, divorces, disfigurements, financial ruin, prison, and the pleasure...- Boogie

Can this thread save your life, and perhaps countless others? Yes.
GOLD! HOT! MINDSETAn update: The person was re-captured and is in jail now facing additional charges for running. It's a shame to have taken a life and also to have destroyed much future self success. The event of drowning some sorrow with some booze destroyed the process being followed. As MJ said in the...- Boogie
