Probably unqualified to say this, but I think you might find @Andy Black 's threads extremely helpful.

    Who have you helped?

    GOLD! HOT! MINDSET
Damn... More people need to see this thread. There are always those posts here from time to time saying how they just keep trying and failing for years with no progress. I feel that this thread has saved me years of wasted effort and heartache. I think all good things done in the world are...

    What's overvalued/undervalued in today's society?

    OFF-TOPIC
I personally think not every form of travel is overvalued, I came here because I have geographical curiosities.

Thoughts on dropping out of university.

    MINDSET
It is my fault that I didn't practice well in one subject and I feel like I might not meet sufficient scores for a scholarship. I heard assistant professor positions only pay $60 a month while rent is at very minimum $93 a month. No. And I don't trust my dad and his side of the family due to...

Thoughts on dropping out of university.

    MINDSET
Hello. I've already read TMF and just began reading TGRRE, but having only a couple days left until the end of my second semester, I'll soon be charged with the fee for the next semester. But I feel that unlike other "dropping out of college to go fastlane" threads here, my situation is a bit...

Re-read TMF or read Unscripted or read TGRRE?

So TMF was one of the first 10 books I read when I first got into reading, but I made the beginner mistake of not taking notes. Hence, I forgot probably 50% of it. Should I give it a second read or read one of the other books? And if so which one?

    Is reading pirated books ethical?

    HOT! MINDSET
Stealing is wrong. And piracy is stealing. But the one book that inspired me the most was The Stranger in the Woods by Michael Finkel. This detailed a true story of Christopher Thomas Knight. A man who escaped to the harsh and thick Maine woods at only 20 years old and was never seen again for...

    Having Children...Pros and Cons?

    HOT! PEOPLE
Hi, I'm 19 and I'm way too young to give an answer. But I thought this is a very interesting thread that makes me want to ask, How old do you guys think is too old for a man to have children?

What book are you reading? Right now. Post up!

    NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHAT
The Art of Game Design by Jesse Schell - Would highly recommend to game developers here like @Ali Hamza I'm only 80% through. I was skeptical to not recommend it earlier, but now I would. The book describes the typical process of developing successful games. This book primarily focuses on...

Where is the dark mode for the forum?

    OFF-TOPIC
I read in another thread that OP needs to spend time in front of the screen, and dark mode really helps reduce eye strain for most people. So yes, it is a priority for some people.

Tips to work hard without damaging my eyes?

    QUESTION
I have an online business idea but I need hours of work a day in front of my laptop (which is all I have) but I've noticed my right eye is starting to be myopic. My right eye's vision is now blurry over 20 meters. Do you guys have any tips on how to prevent any eye damages while working for...

    Experiences with open source projects?

    PEOPLE
I'm not really sure where to put this thread, so I'll just post it here. (Hopefully it doesn't end up in landfill) I'm a university student in IT and I want to build my portfolio. I thought that although project open-sourcing probably won't make a lot of money, it probably has many other...

    SIDE HUSTLE
Being in a developing country, earning about $50 a month as a university student is very helpful. Do you guys think that day trading can be a good way to earn a bit of extra cash?

    Ask Me Anything About Turkey

    OFF-TOPIC
Yooo, I literally am planning to take a vacation to Turkey because I've never seen snow in real life before and flights from my country to Turkey are affordable, and I don't even need a visa to go there. (I'm from a third-world country, so I don't have much visa-free options) TL;DR I just want...

Best way to go from $10 to $200 online?

    SIDE HUSTLE RANT
Man why does going from $0 to $200 have to be such a pain in the a$$ in the third world? (Hey, that could be a business idea worth solving!) This sounds like a really dumb question but I live in an overpopulated third world country, and anyone from a similar situation like me would understand...
