My 3rd attempt at creating a business. Finally have some sales.

    EXECUTION
Forgot to post this due to being pretty busy but here are the official results for November. My second product finally arrived at the warehouse and im currently in the process of getting everything done for the listing. Should be launching in a couple days. December might not be as good of a...

My 3rd attempt at creating a business. Finally have some sales.

    EXECUTION
Just wanted to post end of month results. Just short of 3k in a span of 3 weeks so 1 week short of a actual month. Sadly next month will most likely not be as good as my main competitor tanked his price and his product is definitely better so i had to lower my price. My hopes is he raises the...

My 3rd attempt at creating a business. Finally have some sales.

    EXECUTION
My goal is to find a product that sells 25 units a day, either this one or another.

My 3rd attempt at creating a business. Finally have some sales.

    EXECUTION
My first update. It's been a week since i launched and here are the results. Overall im happy that i even made sales. Might not be the golden egg at 25 units a day, but its something. My biggest struggle has been using PPC effectively to get sales while not going over budget. Im not in the...

My 3rd attempt at creating a business. Finally have some sales.

    EXECUTION
I didn't speak to anyone, im sure the competition got the idea similar to how i did. They just read what people didn't like and improved on it.

My 3rd attempt at creating a business. Finally have some sales.

    EXECUTION
I didn't test the market. There was a product that i thought i could improve on based on the reviews. I got my manufacturer to make the change and just took the plunge. That extra month that i took though, other competitors with the similar change started popping up. That's the one thing i kick...

Ask me anything about eCommerce (Ongoing)

    GOLD!
Is there a software that you use to do this? I just read that Amazon automatically sends a feedback reminder after 3 weeks? That's pretty nice. Do you send any welcome or feedback emails or you just let Amazon do its thing?

Ask me anything about eCommerce (Ongoing)

    GOLD!
Legally, yes. Im referring to the post Amazon made in October of 2016 here where they ban giving a discount to a customer in return for a review and that the only incentivized reviews legally allowed are from brand registered owners through an Early Reviewers program here. People with a...

Ask me anything about eCommerce (Ongoing)

    GOLD!
Hey @biophase , What can you recommend for getting reviews on Amazon in 2017? I know incentivized reviews are long gone unless you're registered brand with a trademark. What are small guys like me to do? Two options i have in mind are Use Facebook groups that are niche specific and give a...

My 3rd attempt at creating a business. Finally have some sales.

    EXECUTION
I bought about 500 units so sadly i won't be out in a week. Would be quite the sale if i was though :). As from speed for concept, that was definitely my goal, i tried to get it out asap and i still kick myself that it took 3 months when i could have probably done it in 2. Oh man, what wasn't...

My 3rd attempt at creating a business. Finally have some sales.

    EXECUTION
Just product alone, 1750USD. Overall i've spent about 4300USD which includes inspections, packaging, customs, shipping to Canada and the States, as well as advertising. I've identified things i can make more efficient and cut costs on, so it will be a little cheaper second time around.

    EXECUTION
Hey everyone, I don't contribute much to the forums but I decided to post a progress thread. I don't know how useful this will be to anyone, and to be frank i was pretty reluctant to post due to this, but if at least one person finds this insightful then i guess it works out. Some background...

Can i ship from a US address to an Amazon warehouse? Im in Canada.

We all got things to do :) This sounds quite interesting though. I will take a look at this as well. Are you at all familiar with section 321 shipping? I know theres an $800 USD limit but is that the value calculated based on what i paid for the product or what i'm selling it for? So if i bought...

Anyone ship from Canada to the US before?

I have a broker that i used for the overseas shipment that i was planning to use for exporting to the US. One reason I'm stalling is because they're requesting my SSN which i don't feel too happy about providing. Trying to find as much info as possible to see if this is my only way out first...

Anyone ship from Canada to the US before?

Anyone ship from Canada to the US before?

I have my first product ready for export from Canada to the US but im stumped on shipping. Generic carriers like UPS and FedEx cost a fortune, there have got to be better options. My current options are: Use a generic carrier like UPS, FedEx, or DHL. They're quoting me roughly $1000 CAD to...

Can i ship from a US address to an Amazon warehouse? Im in Canada.

Yes, but where do you find locations that allow you to do that? Are they just 3PL companies?

Can i ship from a US address to an Amazon warehouse? Im in Canada.

Ah, so i guess i misunderstood you then. I'll take a look at this. I figured those warehouses were out of question since all my product is already prepped and good to go. Thanks.

Can i ship from a US address to an Amazon warehouse? Im in Canada.

I think you misunderstood what I'm looking for. I know how fullfilment and merchant accounts work. I'm trying to get around having to ship items directly from my house to the US Amazon warehouse as it's very expensive. Instead, I'm trying to get it across the border to a warehouse somewhere in...
