Winning the Hearts and Minds - Turning Skeptics into Fans
PEOPLEToday I was confronted by a customer that was fairly upset that my products are made in China. A vocal customer is an ideal customer imo so this wasn't an email to be ignored (none are but I had to turn this around asap) I was told that my products should be made in the U.S to reduce carbon...- Jake

Has anyone here had success with reddit advertising? Please share!
MARKETINGI tried. They wouldn't run the ad and said I was breaking some rule. What rule?..I haven't the slightest idea. I may try again. An alternative approach, but you need to be careful to not "promote" is simply uploading images to imgur. A lot of free impressions to be had- Jake

Instagram Marketing ($100K+ profit, 4M followers)
MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA AMAI'm sure it depends on your product and your audience. It works for me. Customers share photos of my product on their IG. I share the photo to my followers. It's great validation. A retailer just found me through IG, placed an order, and said they'd share photos of my products in their store on...- Jake

Anyone planning to go to the 2016 Spring Canton fair?
MEETUPSThat's incredible. I guess I should look into plane tickets to the U.S this summer and see if I can find something similar. Wouldn't mind stopping in China beforehand.- Jake

Let's get real - Profits selling on Amazon
60+% but my ACoS on a lot of keywords isn't that great. The product is fairly unique so people aren't looking for it. Word of mouth is strong though so the more product I get out there the less I'll have to worry about ad spend.- Jake

Were's all the money??
MINDSETNice post. Nice pics. I love Hong Kong. Before I ever ventured into China I though of HK as this great gateway to the worlds manufacturing base. I haven't seen much of China but I've been to Shenzhen and the surrounding area twice now. Incredible. The hustle is amazing. I imagine it's similar to...- Jake

Ask me anything about eCommerce (Ongoing)
GOLD!Not Bio but to chime in. Amazon will let you have 2 accounts if they do not sell in the same category. You'll need separate bank accounts and email addresses and to request approval. I was hoping to sell completely different products in the same category but as per their rules it's a no go =(- Jake
