Do you think the planner niche is already oversaturated?

Good. And I know what you mean about people asking for things. I've received numerous requests over the year for two things in my business and I introduced them and crickets. Then again, I hate marketing and social media with a passion. I need to do what MJ said and come up with a productocray...

Do you think the planner niche is already oversaturated?

I admit to succumbing to the cutesy part of the planner world and one of the products I sell is for the cutesy loving consumer. However, I think the cutesy part of the planner world is WAY WAY WAY oversaturated. Think about what's not saturated and go from there. There are holes in the...

Supreme Court: Online shoppers can be forced to pay sales tax

    TAXES | REGS FEATURED!
I always have. I think people don't even know about it, and even now, I only see an option to pay it on my business' state sales tax form. I would gladly turn over a customer's name for this reason. I am against a lot of taxes in theory, but people buying luxuries (which is basically what I...

Mental Health, Depression, ADD Discussion Thread

    NOTABLE! CHAT
Thank you for starting this thread. Even if you yourself aren't mentally ill, you can be impacted by a loved one. Phones and other screen time are the worst thing for anyone with any disorder, especially with regards to social media. If you've got loved ones that you have any impact on, do...

Are You Weak? This Exercise Will Show You

    HOT! MINDSET
I'm a wimp, then. :) I admit that I melt down over stupid stuff, and I really have no excuse. I'm a big fan of lifestyle changes over medication and I really wish there was a better way to get people to commit to non medical ways to get healthier. I fight with my doctors all the time--sorry...

Service to help people save money?

Not to be Captain Obvious here, but won't people save money by not using your service? And by funneling them to affiliates, aren't they spending even more money they should be trying to cut? Maybe try writing a short ebook on the subject if you're qualified --meaning you either have walked the...

Describe aging in a few words.

    HOT! MINDSET
It beats the alternative! Also, wisdom and not giving a sh*t are right up there as two of the most awesome things in the universe.

Dressing For Success... Stop looking like a fool.

    HOT! PEOPLE
This can't be emphasized enough. If "f*ck them" is someone's thing than that someone isn't getting money or a deal from people who can provide it. This is a great thread, @Kak! One of my interests over the years has been style. Not fashion, but style. I know for females, the rules are...

A Note for People Seriously Struggling

    HOT! MINDSET
To Not-much-of-a-go-getter: I found great content in that podcast. The most important thing I got was: "Decide that this time it's going to be different". And then do things differently. There are two parts to success--the idea and the execution. No one can tell you how to execute, that's...

Advice: Has Anyone Groomed Themselves to Enter The American Elite?

    HOT! MINDSET
Not everyone is either rich or poor, and rich doesn't mean manners and poor doesn't mean ghetto. There's a huge range of people in between. I mostly know people with money, high income slowlaners, like doctors and lawyers, and some old money people. I know some modest income people too, and I am...

    >>Farmers Fridge. The HEALTHY Vending

I don't know much about the vending machine business but the concept of ones with healthy offerings is awesome. Vending machine food is crap.

    SOCIAL MEDIA
Based on current social media, I think the last thing the world needs is more "stories". I would be interested in entrepreneurs' stories, maybe.

    Job finding

    EXECUTION RANT
A lot of jobs are acquired through contacts, not resumes. Do you know anyone who knows anyone who is hiring? Are people you know likely to recommend you for a job? Do you live in a way that makes others say "hey, you would be great for x job and so-and-so is hiring"? Do you hustle? Clean up...

Starting a Copywriting Freelance Business. How well do I sell myself?

    HOT! SIDE HUSTLE
I've been writing copy for 10 years, and I am by no means a @SinisterLex or Gary Halbert but I have a couple of tips after a quick glance: --Use proper spelling and punctuation. --Don't use words like "anyways" or "cool", unless you're marketing the next social media channel for young people...

This is what 60 Pounds (27 KGS) Looks Like

    GOLD!
Good for you @Vigilante !!! You can do it. I have been doing a modified version of Tim Ferriss' Slow Carb Diet. Modified because there are a lot of foods I can't eat. I have so far lost about 12 pounds in a few months. I think everyone needs to do what suits them, as long as it brings results...

I would say a good idea is 5% of the equation

    IDEA MINDSET RANT
Yesterday I was looking through my daily notebook from 9 years ago to see if I had any unexecuted ideas I could work on and something I had written down 9 YEARS AGO has become a huge industry. It existed then but has since exploded like crazy. I am working on other versions of it because it is...

Solid Niche Website Idea No Idea Where To Start

    IDEA
If you know where to find these things you could collect some yourself and try selling them on an established online marketplace. You can always start your own website. Be aware though, Etsy is for handmade items you either made or designed, vintage (over 20 years old), and craft supplies. But...
