Would You Open This?
I would never open a letter like that. For what it's worth, I watched your video to see what it was that you're trying to accomplish. What I gather is that you're trying to win Wesley as a coaching client. Maybe he's one of your dream clients. For whatever reason, you want to get his...- Bekit

Forum Self-Promotion Opp: Offers, Links, Your Business, More! (July W2)
SELF-PROMOTIONThis is a free thing, and it's not something that I have any relationship to other than a user. But for some reason, I have still felt funny about creating a thread about it, lest it feel like a veiled promotion. Anyway, this is the #1 most effective method I have ever used to achieve...- Bekit

The Fastlane Forum Job Board?
Yeah. I mean, people already join the forum just to spam the marketplace with ads. But when they're a scammer, the forum usually sniffs it out pretty quick. This thread is a great example of somebody's sketchy ad and how it was received...- Bekit

Dressing For Success... Stop looking like a fool.
HOT! PEOPLEI experimented with this. My philosophy was, "Dress for the job you want, not for the job you have." However, I did get some "hints" and comments from, let's just say, the more insecure/pathological members of company leadership. I concluded they felt threatened by the fact that I was...- Bekit

Bad Bosses
PEOPLE RANTGlad it was helpful to you. I know you're in a low place, so it's worth saying... You matter. You are important to people. You are valuable. Don't ever forget that. So what are you thinking you're going to do about the job? By the way, the fact that you've been conditioned for so...- Bekit

Bad Bosses
PEOPLE RANTI'm really sorry for what you're going through. This boss is controlling you through fear and manipulation. Their behavior is totally inappropriate and criminal. Now they are using the threat of blackmail to get you to keep quiet and go along with everything. You're afraid for your own safety...- Bekit

Study Concludes: 85% of Business Success Attributed to “Soft Skills.”
HOT! MINDSETI was curious to see what the other "soft skills" were in the research you linked to, so I pulled up the original document. Lots of interesting quotes. And yeah, it's not napkin folding.- Bekit

Study Concludes: 85% of Business Success Attributed to “Soft Skills.”
HOT! MINDSETGood Diction. People unconsciously judge each other's social class by the way we pronounce words. It goes along with dressing well and having good table manners. Like @Kruiser said, it's kind of like a secret code. Those who don't know the code don't know they're breaking it. Those who do know...- Bekit

Websites desperately needing a redesign...
SIDE HUSTLE WEB DESIGNTHIS GUY. http://www.waynesthisandthat.com/index.htm Actually, despite the fact that this site is essentially a time machine back to 1999, the content is super addicting. A few years ago I read through a ton of his pages. He's like the coolest grandpa ever LOL. For instance, check out his...- Bekit

Rapid Scaling a business by franchising
Fascinating topic @Walter Hay ! As a franchisor, I'm assuming that your method would NOT set up a "cheap and nasty" system where failure was likely for your franchisees. But is there a way to set up the franchise so that your franchisees are not just "buying a job"? Or is that just...- Bekit

Marketing to the Unmarketable!
MARKETINGThanks for the extra info. That helps. (I don't have much experience in the field, but a friend of mine just became a deputy in the local jail, and I'm just extrapolating from there that prison is likely very much the same. I'm also the founder of a volunteer organization that goes into the jail...- Bekit

Don't quit your day job yet!
In 2016, I got laid off from a job due to a company merger where they shut down my department. I got a nice severance package and cashed out my 401k. I was like, "YES! This is my chance to start a business." So I paid several months of rent in advance and had a runway of several months to get...- Bekit

Marketing to the Unmarketable!
MARKETINGI feel like there are still too many unanswered questions for us to give you valuable feedback here. If you are marketing to prison staff, are they each going to buy their own thing from you with their own money, or is there a single decision maker who has the power to roll this thing out...- Bekit

Creating an online card game
EXECUTIONHey Jonathan. Awesome idea and great work so far! I just tried the game. I love the fact that you don't have to register. But after a couple of minutes, I ran into a lot of problems that would keep me from trying again. Note: I am NOT a gamer. But I like playing cards in real life. So maybe...- Bekit

Nice opportunity for Amazon Account Owners
MARKETPLACEYeah, I noticed the same thing. I asked the question because I wanted to see if the story would play out further. The thing I noticed to begin with was that the original marketplace ad, the entire website, and ALL the testimonials seemed to have been written by the same person.- Bekit
