    Where to learn sales?

    QUESTION
I worked in Sales for over 15 years, B2C and B2B. I remember when I started, I thought that Sales was some kind of witchcraft that required 100's of tricks, canned responses, and some superhuman level of persuasion. I was wrong. I was successful, and in the last 10 years I had the highest...

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer

    - AI -
Is anyone using ChatGPT rather than reading business books? I'm just about to pull the trigger on a few Marketing Books and figured I'd see what ChatGPT had to say. I find it a little hard to get my head around the idea that ChatGPT can summarise all the value a book has to offer in a few...

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer

    - AI -
I've been using ChatGPT quite extensively over that last week or so and I'm blown away. Today I spent a few hours with ChatGPT4 and it's scarily effective. It made me think. If ChatGPT4 can summarise information so succinctly and efficiently, what does this mean for books? If I can use...

I'd work harder for longer. If there is one thing that sets successful people apart it is their ability to work harder for longer, "Dont stop when you are tired, stop when you are done" - David Goggins From a mindset point of view I would focus on the opportunity to grow, to create new...

Young folk: Go easy on the booze

    MINDSET
We’ll I can now add to this thread… I’ve been quite a drinker all my life but last night/this morning I am now tee total. Why you ask? A nice 3 inch gash above my eye which could’ve easily been my eye. I had a few last night and slipped in the bathroom and smashed my head on the sink. This...

Damn @Fox That is mega! Your social media game is strong! It's one thing that I need to start working on building my social media presence and building those followers and subscribers. Do you think its a case of the more content the more followers (as long as it isn't crap stuff that gives...

Have you succeeded on Udemy or as an online educator... If so what mistakes should we avoid if we're just starting out?

    NOTABLE! SIDE HUSTLE QUESTION
It is, however, the course has to be under 2 hours long and will not get promoted like paid courses will. Basically its a waste of your time unless you are going to be actively pushing people.

    NOTABLE! SIDE HUSTLE QUESTION
I might look at creating a thread on the inside so I can walk through all the numbers :) That does make for frightening reading when you realise how much Udemy takes of your sale.

    NOTABLE! SIDE HUSTLE QUESTION
Hey Prusak, I've tried a couple of other places but Course Marketplaces are not the best place to sell your courses. I'd recommend building on your own platform like Teachable or Kajabi. Its funny you mention that, I'm approached weekly from other places such as Reed, Skillshare, Pluralsight...

    NOTABLE! SIDE HUSTLE QUESTION
Thanks @Andy Black. That is a really good point and something that people need to be aware of, if I am spending 10 hours a week maintaining Udemy alone imagine the impact I could have with my own thing. Hence why I am setting up my own platform... I need to update that progress thread on the...

Have you succeeded on Udemy or as an online educator... If so what mistakes should we avoid if we're just starting out?

    NOTABLE! SIDE HUSTLE QUESTION
Finally, a topic I can make a solid contribution towards! All joking aside, I've been selling my courses on Udemy for just under 12 months and in that time I have acquired 15,000+ students so I feel like I can speak a little from experience. That being said, don't take what I say as gospel...

Recommendation Request: Automated Contract Integration Recommendation

    SAAS / APPS EXECUTION QUESTION
Salesforce CRM would be a option. It integrates easily with DocuSign and Conga, you can plug in CTIs that will handle your calls (including calling, recording, and listening in). It would easily capture your Sales Data too

Recommendation Request: Automated Contract Integration Recommendation

    SAAS / APPS EXECUTION QUESTION
How many Users are we taking and what Contract volume? Also what functionality do you need? E.g. Red Lining. Depending on how many Users you have and what your appetite is, you may want to switch CRMs to something that integrates seamlessly with Conga or DocuSign.
