    Building a digital entertainment empire

    EXECUTION
Hi, I think this is a good moment to start posting about my progress. I will try to write a weekly update if I'm not busy. By now I won't post any links to my stuff because I don't want to look like I'm self-promoting, but if you tell me that this is OK I'll put some so you can tell me what...

Article 13, EU "end of the internet"

    HOT!
Hmmmmmmm, I think it's time to double the amount of push ups and squats I do so when everything goes to hell I'll be higher on the food chain.

Anyone else notice that McDonalds is making a *killing* lately?

    HOT!
I don't know if you have noticed that many companies are introducing "politics" (the "diversity & inclusion social justice" kind) to their business practices. I have yet to see one that doesn't lose quite a lot of credibility and money when done. Burger King did something recently with the...

Think Big, and Then Think Bigger Than That.

    GOLD!
WOW what an amazing thread, I just want to say what's the lesson I learnt from the story of Nikola Tesla. It's that if you're in a position of leadership with someone with outstanding talent like him, be aware that some people are so focused on their craft that you'll need to take care of them...

    Cryptocurrency a scam?

    HOT! CRYPTO INVESTING
Thanks, that's my point and what I've been saying since the beginning. Blockchain is very good at what is good at but why would you use it for other things that offer no added benefit to? Just because you can doesn't mean that you should but some people just seem so in love with it that it...

    Cryptocurrency a scam?

    HOT! CRYPTO INVESTING
Cryptos & Blockchain are the MLM of tech, they don't do anything better than what we already have, early adopters and top tier people are making gazillions, those who are jumping into the bandwagon now are doing it because it's "a good business opportunity", their arguments are usually about...

Which website builder should I use?

    HOT!
Only one did for certain keywords. Well, another one did show up too but because I hijacked some keywords so I don't count that. But the point I was trying to make is that you can get traffic without being searchable and without paying. I'm sure any of the SEO pros here can give you a better...

Which website builder should I use?

    HOT!
I did it in the past with 4 Wordpress based sites that are now gone and I'm doing it now to promote a game I'm making and that I have no website for. It's important to keep in mind that you genuinely need to want to provide value and interact with people or you'll be perceived as the regular...

Which website builder should I use?

    HOT!
There are many free plugins that will give you all the functionality you need. Many are freemium and they make money from people who need extra features or want support from the developer but the free versions are more than enough. You won't be toast by not being on the 1st page but it will...

How Far Do You Plan Ahead?

Yes, this is a good way to define it. Man, this happens to me and I've been thinking if it may have negative consequences in the future, like health issues, anxiety or similar due to being overworked.

How Far Do You Plan Ahead?

I think that's difficult to define because what might be specific for me it might be vague for you and viceversa. Let's say that I'm specific enough to at least have a route to the goals but not as specific to have all the details noted down. Or in other words, I have a slight idea on what it...

How Far Do You Plan Ahead?

Call me crazy but I have in my someday/maybe list things to be made in 40 or 50 years. If I showed you my long-term plans you would look at me as if I was a lunatic because my vision is huge. And by huge I mean galactic empire level of hugeness. Why so big? Well, "Aim for the moon. If you...

What would Earth be like if everyone were millionaires? (NOT VIA INFLATION)

    HOT!
Dubai has and is being built thanks to an army of thousands of slave workers from Pakistan, Afghanistan and India, take a look at the "Slaves of Dubai" documentary and open your eyes to the tragic reality of that place. If everyone was a millionaire the situation would be the same as today for...

The rarest Reddit find of all... actual gold. (Legendary Comic)

    GOLD! MINDSET
I disagree, it's not engineered it's the survival of the fittest. Some people are born with a genetic predisposition to work hard and find creative solutions to problems and the rest with a predisposition to laziness and ignorance. In the past, the hardness of Nature would clean the genetic...

I'll throw another option in case you want to get your hands dirty to have something ultra-customized and lightweight HTML5 Boilerplate: The web’s most popular front-end template If you don't want to spend time coding I think Wordpress is the best option, it has tons of free plugins for any...

    Sam Ovens, Legit?

    GURUS
Gurus like Tai and Sam rely heavily on the "Dumbo feather" effect. The majority of people who's successful "thanks to" a product from a guru they would have gotten there with any other material. But because they get the results after that they retroactively associate the consequence with the...

    Does MJ have a wife?

    OFF-TOPIC
Hmmm, I agree with social media being a red flag and also: Is she going out a lot with the girls? Are her friends divorced/single mothers? Mix everything together and you'll have an already doomed relationship.
