Free Copywriting for “Fast Laners”
SIDE HUSTLEI'm relieved to hear that I'm that far off the mark. Good for you for doubling prices in the cleaning business and staying busy! Have you done copywriting for your cleaning business as if it was one of your "clients" that you're serving "for free"? Might be interesting to have control over the...- Bekit

Free Copywriting for “Fast Laners”
SIDE HUSTLEHey - can I ask what's really going on here? Because offering free services is a veryyyyyy roundabout way of getting to having rent paid (or any of the items you listed). Karma is not going to pay your rent, at least in the short term. Out of kindness and respect, can I make the following...- Bekit

HOT! CHATJust want to echo this 1000%. A women's clothing line where the clothing consistently comes with functional pockets seems too good to be true. You hear that? Anyone looking for a problem to solve? ^ Here's a big huuuuuge pain point! Do you realize that your neighbor's Ring / Echo devices...- Bekit

Helping Someone Who Isn't Ready to be Helped - 10 tips from someone who has been there
MINDSETI originally posted this in my Progress thread, but a few people mentioned that it should be its own separate thread. Hopefully this prompts a fuller discussion of the topic! If you want more context and background, the original post in my progress thread has 4 years of context haha. But the...- Bekit

[PROGRESS] Bekit's Progress Thread
EXECUTIONUpdate time. A lot of people have been asking (thank you for your interest!), and I'm squeaking this in before midnight on the 4-year anniversary of my first post on this thread, AND it's my 1000th post on the forum, PLUS I haven't posted in this thread since 2020, so I wanted to make it a good...- Bekit

I was let go from my job today, and a chat about quiet quitting
HOT! MINDSETObservation: You say that the world isn't black and white, but then you proceed immediately to all-or-nothing thinking. ("the entire system is setup to make you believe if you aren't killing yourself to make others rich, then you're simply adding to the problem.") That's a cognitive distortion...- Bekit

Battered but not beaten
INTROWelcome to the forum. You are indeed an excellent writer. I'm curious about the social media platform that's operating at a loss. What is the gist of the platform? A youtube alternative or something else? What are the problems it solves or the areas where it improves on other social media...- Bekit

I was let go from my job today, and a chat about quiet quitting
HOT! MINDSETHere's my pushback on that. When I was working for one of those companies (The toxic ones, the kind that really deserve for their employees to quiet quit, the ones who keep saying, as OP put it, "Don't come up with your own solutions, do what we tell you to do"), I felt this immense pressure...- Bekit

I was let go from my job today, and a chat about quiet quitting
HOT! MINDSETSorry you got let go. It sounds like you have been in some terribly toxic environments. But it also sounds like you have developed some skillsets that are extremely versatile and transferable. What if you get some good, solid rest over the next few days, take a step back and assess all...- Bekit

HOT! CHATThat list is ridiculous. There's no way that's right. It's so bad, it's actually laughable. Sure, my perspective is just composed of the anecdotal evidence of one person, but... have the people looking at this data and writing the article actually DRIVEN in all those places? There was...- Bekit

HOT! CHATI have loved watching her channel over the past few years, and it has been so cool to be able to see her upgrade the stove... get some new clothes... get better kitchen knives, better dishes, nice little upgrades to the house. The Child Entrepreneur Who Did More than Most of Us...
EXECUTIONWow. That article was heart-wrenching, but one of the best things I ever read. Sounds like we need to add "Poor Charlie’s Almanack" to the list of underrated books - I'm definitely looking that up! WINTER IS COMING: European Winter of '22
HOT! OFF-TOPICJust back-of-the-napkin math... Let's say the it's a small coffee shop. Let's say they see an average of one customer every 5 minutes all day for 8 hours. I'm not sure if this is realistic or not - I've never run a coffee shop - but hypothetically, let's imagine these are the numbers for a...- Bekit

HOT! CHATWow. So apparently, linking to this forum in a Facebook post is considered a capital offense. Yesterday, I wrote up a post to share in the @Fox Legends Program facebook group. HOT! CHATNo, you're not dumb. I saw how this worked from the inside in a large marketing agency where I worked for two years. At least in that company, the employees had training but not what I would call any methods that instilled confidence that they would work. I saw customer after customer pay...- Bekit
