Lex DeVille's: One Thread For All My Genius, Unhinged, Mostly Really Bad Ideas
GOLD! OFF-TOPICPretty cool Etsy milestone. April crossed the $1,000+ month mark. Sales are just below $1100 and I think I'll see $1.6 or 1.7k by the end of the month (doubling last month's revenue). This shop is growing slower than my last one, but feels more stable. (Lifetime Revenue Shown)- Lex DeVille

GOLD! OFF-TOPICPhysical Therapy We've been working on increasing my leg's bend for a couple weeks and it's about 90%. I can almost touch my heel to my butt while sitting on my knees. I sat cross legged briefly yesterday. We're also strengthening the leg. On Tuesday we did a one-rep-max on the leg press. My...- Lex DeVille

Selling niche Google Sheets on Etsy?
SIDE HUSTLEA quick search shows there are a good number of people selling Google Sheets for this industry on Etsy. For instance: https://www.etsy.com/shop/InsightDesignStudio Their digital items are priced between $35 - $135. They've been on Etsy 3 years and have 5300 sales. If we assume the low end on...- Lex DeVille

Start an Etsy Side-Hustle in 2026
SIDE HUSTLEVariation Results As mentioned previously, I added two upsell options to almost all of my listings at the beginning of April. I've had 12 orders so far, and half added upsells. All but one added both upsells. One customer ordered two of the same variation. In total, for the first half of April...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! OFF-TOPICEtsy in April The main changes I made in the last two weeks were: - Updating all listings every day - Redirected all shop links from website to Etsy - Uploaded a short product video to YouTube and Facebook From December 2025 to March 2026, the most orders I had in the first 7 days of the month...- Lex DeVille

SIDE HUSTLEEtsy Insights as of April 1) Add One Listing Per Day This gives a temporary boost in visibility and promotes initial sales. Over time, it expands shop size and organic reach. 2) Regularly Update ALL Listings Before doing this, my highest shop views was 40. After, the lowest viewed day was 47...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! OFF-TOPICEnd of Month Updates ETSY March Sales: $867.02 (Up from $610.46 in Feb) Record Breaker! Growth feels slow from one day to the next, but zooming out, the trends look better. This month was a record month in shop visits, orders, and profit. I made one major change this week that seems to be...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! OFF-TOPICEtsy Shop I was sad to lose a passive income source, but the new Etsy shop is close to making up for it. I need one more sale to turn March into a record month. This one's a slow burn so far. Three months in a row of around $650 unless things pick up in the next few days. One cool thing that...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! OFF-TOPICMy OnlyFans course had a good run on Udemy. Since I don't keep up with it, sales were dwindling, but I was still enjoying monthly payouts of $100 to $200, and people claimed it was really helpful even though the course was almost six years old. - Published in May of 2021 - 2,429 students...- Lex DeVille

HOT! CHATWatched a police bodycam video on YouTube the other night. One of the cops says he's gonna use a Shatterball to break the window of a vehicle with bad guys inside. The cop pulls out this little spikey ball, chucks it at the window, and the window explodes. What a cool product idea! Plus, they...- Lex DeVille

GOLD! OFF-TOPICHealing Took two weeks to get here, but yesterday, I removed the knee brace. Over the past week, I saw improvements. The muscles reactivated, swelling reduced. GOLD! OFF-TOPICThe verdict is in... I'm out of competition for 6 weeks. The ortho doc drained the fluid from my knee. He used a huge syringe to inject numbing stuff, then pulled out a larger syringe for draining. It was the biggest f*cking syringe/needle I've ever seen and it was excruciatingly painful.
