Restrictive laws for side hustles in Germany - mental and legal hurdles

    MINDSET
I think that your side project is in the same space as the company you are employed in is a much bigger problem then just not telling them that you do something on the side. They might could sue you for stealing sensitive information or using the information from their company to build a...

Restrictive laws for side hustles in Germany - mental and legal hurdles

    MINDSET
Hi @4symmetry I am from Germany, too and I am aware that this law exists. In my opinion you should just go for it and apologize later. Just make sure that your side hustle is not anywhere near the field of the business you are employed by right now. Think about the worst thing that could...

Landing pages to drive traffic to Amazon product

    MARKETING
Hi @kismet818 doing this or something similar is a good idea since external traffic gets more and more important on Amazon since everyone is optimizing their listing (atleast in the competitive spaces) to the maximum right now. When everyone maxed out their listing, assuming the product and...

Establishing a Productocracy - PULLing rather than PUSHing

    NOTABLE!
Hi @amp0193 thank you for your valuable thread! I am curious if you could elaborate a little more on how you've found a product that is: "...unique to this country. There are no competitors with similar products." I am aware that there are many valuable advices on the forum on how to find a...

I will help you find a product to sell on Amazon

    GOLD!
@biophase You've said a few times in this thread that you would pass on a product if you don't see how to build a brand around it. I've heard from a lot of podcasts that it is crucial to have a clear audience of people you serve who become your brands loyal fanbase one day. My question is how...

Does a physical products business has to have a specific target audience?

Since my last thread, my fear that not beeing part of my target audience would be bad in some way got crushed. Special thanks to @MTF and @Andy Black As said in my other thread I have currently two physical products which solve a need for people with fish tanks but also fall into a certain...

I feel bad not being part of my potential target audience

    MINDSET
Thank you, you are right that when there is a clear problem I choose whoever solves the problem the best. But what about the marketing which is targeted towards the audience when the owner of the brand is not involved with the hobby? -A blog article written by a brand owner who knows what he...

I feel bad not being part of my potential target audience

    MINDSET
Fastlaners, I've finished reading Unscripted a couple weeks ago and one key mindset is that giving real value is more important than "doing what you love". There was one example in the book of a friend of MJ who owns a dog product company although he never owned a dog. He gives value by...

    GOLD!
Hey @amp0193 thank you for this awesome and detailed guide. I've already tried one step (Lost_Inboud) and got 150€ back. I have a question about step 3: I've downloaded the inventory adjustments report and selected only the "M" and "F" reason for one FNSKU. Separately I got 85 "Missing" but...

How do I turn my product into a REAL brand?

    MARKETING
Thanks for your input. In my current niche I of cause looked to fill a need which I did - otherwise I would not sell that well. In all directions I have laid out in my first post I see opportunity for improvement. Maybe not the next iPhone but there are always small things that I can make better...

How do I turn my product into a REAL brand?

    MARKETING
Hi @Yoda thank you for your post. I am pretty happy with my sales right now and believe that with adding more products sales will get even better. A brand or better a SPECIFIC audience to sell/market to would strengthen my position in the market and help me grow more independently from amazon...

How do I turn my product into a REAL brand?

    MARKETING
Dear fellow Fastlaners, I would like to keep the introduction as short as possible basically I started into self-employment right out of high school. Always did some part side hustles on the side while in school so it made sense to me to skip college and focus on my own ventures. Thanks, @MJ...

Track Amazon Conversions from Facebook Ads

    MARKETING
The german tool is called quantifiedmarkets. The owner contacted me. If we work it out, I will let you know if I can recommend it. Another possibility is to greate a coupon code and use it for the FB ads but its never 100% sure that people acutally use the coupons. Some just buy I guess instead...

Do you want to do it the EASY way, or the HARD way?

    GOLD! MINDSET
Thank you very much. You pretty much answered my question. Yes there are more products in my niche, but I don't have the funds to make them better at this point in time - if this is even possible because they are pretty much good as they are. So I was looking for products outside my niche...

    GOLD! MINDSET
Hi @biophase I hope its okay that I ask a question regarding this method of importing in this thread. How do you go with brand building with this? I've found a couple of products I could improve and sell in Germany which would bring a lot of value to customers. I was actually already in talks...
