Arizona Entrepreneurs Having More Success Than Most

    OFF-TOPIC
I can definitely back Southern California as a great place to live and as mentioned San Diego, Santa Barbara and Ventura County are the top areas, especially the cities near the coast. There are a million things to do outdoors and indoors and everything is relatively close by. For those of you...

Do we all go through this?

    MINDSET
I can defintiely relate to this. I have friends and hobbies but ever since reading The Millionaire Fastlane I have been definitely spending less time with them. One thing that helps me is to get the mindset that if I work on a fastlane plan 24/7 everyday I'm gonna burn myself out and will really...

Bill Gates on Time Management: "I Don't Watch TV"

I remember in an interview Bill Gates said that when Microsoft was starting up he would work on it all day and most of the night but he would take a break and go to the movies in between. I don't watch much TV or movies, but I do enjoy basketball and football. One tip I've learned wih sports is...

    I've Read The Millionaire Fastlane!

    GOLD! HOT!
Read it twice, and I'm sure I'll read it again. One of the best books ever in my humble opinion. Been recommending it to everyone who will listen :).

    Anyone a Mixergy Premium User?

I listen to their podcasts every day and am considering becoming a premium member but wanted to hear some feedback first. If anyone uses it I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks.

    Mike39's Progress Thread

    EXECUTION
Just read through this whole thing, very impressive and thank you very much for documenting the process, I've had a few app ideas and this will be a great resource for myself and others. I usually sleep pretty well but may download this app for the occasional night that I don't. Will leave a...

    Product Website Question

    WEB/DIGITAL
Not sure if it is necessary to have Privacy Policy, terms and conditions, etc. but I've heard time and time again that search engines, especially google like it when you do. When your site gets indexed it is a good thing to have. I would definitely include them in my websites and there are for...

Thanks! For the people who said they quit, are trying to quit or are just cutting back, good job, I'm sure it's not easy.

    Do you smoke?

    HOT!
Not only do I not smoke, I don't drink either (This is why I've been banned from Beer and Pancakes, just kidding. And no, I don't abstain because of religious reasons). I was wondering the same thing about drinking, if the majority of successful people abstain from alcohol. I'm guessing there...

A Reason NOT To Hate on Jobs

    HOT! MINDSET
That is awesome. People at my work complain sometimes too and I'm trying to always be alert of what they are complaining about and keep a list going for fastlane business ideas, one extra reason to not hate on jobs, you'll be exposed to the average worker and can learn any needs or complaints...

A Reason NOT To Hate on Jobs

    HOT! MINDSET
JohnP, This is my exact situation. My slowlane job has a good amount of downtime, some days are slower than others so it is a little tricky to know how much time I'll have to dedicate to a Fastlane Business on a given day. I'm in the very early stages, reading a lot and absorbing knowledge...

To realise my dream I need.....

    MINDSET
Sounds to me like you love building houses and that passion is pushing you to work hard to be able to do what you love, build houses. So if you're able to get to the point where you can build houses as you please and don't need to do it for money, then any fastlane business that can get you...

    MARKETING
Yes, quality over quantity is what gets you ranked. You can have 1,000 backlinks but if they are all from junk sites that are not high ranking themselves you will not rank higher than a page with 100 quality backlinks from high ranking sites for the same keyword. Building too many backlinks too...

.com and .net price increase starting January 15th, 2012

    WEB/DIGITAL
Just saw this and wanted to share with everyone. Prices are going up only slightly so it will mostly affect those who plan on buying a bulk of domains. Still a good idea to register a domain or two now if you've been thinking about it and save a few bucks before Monday. My apologies if this has...

    Just finished the book

Hi Fastlaners, Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm from California, work an 8 to 5 slowlane job and am now trying to focus on filling a need and getting on the fastlane so that I won't have to work until 70 and barely retire. I don't have any burning desire to own a fleet of fast cars...
