    Inheriting $200k

It's been a long time since I've been on here. I have followed MJ and this site since before it was built. I lost everything during the last downturn. I've rebuilt my life and have a good income (sales job), very little debt, and some money in the bank. I am about to inherit a decent some of...

    A Win-Win Joint Venture

What percentage of the business should I offer a friend of mine to fund a website business I have in mind? Building it myself is probably not an option.

    Tough decisions to make.....

    REAL ESTATE
I haven't been to this forum in months but I stopped by today and was reading your post. I've had a lot of tough decisions to make over the last year too. With a little luck, my head is still above water and I'm beginning to move forward again. You might want to run recent comps in the area. I...

Sweet Feel free to send it over if you want another opinion. I'm wondering if you've incorporated non-business decisions into the mix. These are lessons I try to teach my son that have a huge impact on his future. For instance, when and who he might marry. Children. Health insurance. Where he...

Sue, You need to know that you are not alone. Any one of us could be in the same or worse position than you are at any moment. I've said it before on here that my 16 year old son had a stroke this year. I thought life was OVER. He is doing fine today and is in the other room watching the...

    Professional email address

    WEB/DIGITAL
I think I'll go with Outlook. I've heard it's a pretty good program and it's probably the standard these days. You never know when you'll have to get a JOB! Thanks for the help.

Runum: If that's how it works, great. I didn't know that's how it worked. So I need to get Outlook functioning. I should have know that was coming. Lighthouse: I can't develop anything, lol. I've got three domains and a plan I'm working on that will probably include one ready to go corporate...

You wouldn't lose your website but I believe you would have to change the email address. Yes? If you're building a business to last I don't think you ever want to change your email address if that's possible. Or can you get an email address that's transferable?

How Would You Market This Lemon... and Win?

Does it have easy access? What's the speed limit on the road where you enter? For some reason over the years I've paid attention to this matter. It seems like if you have easy access to entry and exit of the parking lot you're good. If not, fix it. By easy I mean wide enough and paved in a...

Just picked up three domains and working on websites. I guess I can go ahead and host the domain(s) and get the email from them if that's how it works. What if your hosting company goes out of business, don't you lose your email address then? I've had a yahoo address for years, at least I know...

How does one get a professional email address and what is one? I don't want to use a free email like yahoo as I always have and I'm looking for the "right" way to do it. What a joke, I'm so far behind the times. :smx4:

For Those of You Who Remember Utah Investor

    OFF-TOPIC
I believe I remember this guy. I think he used to buy foreclosures that had a first and second mortgage. He would get the second discounted to nothing therefore creating equity. I don't know what he did with them on the backend.
