Is it just me or does everyone struggle with having to write about themselves? I suppose as an introvert I find exercises like these to be a bit uncomfortable but they say that's where the growth happens so here we go! =)
My name is Mariam but I go by Mary because MindsetMary is just so much catchier than MindsetMariam, wouldn't you agree? But, it's also possible that it's all in my head, I tend to live there most of the time (where is that blonde woman shrugging her arms emoji when you need it?!)!
I live in Ottawa, Canada, yes it is freakishly cold up here, I don't enjoy it but the Feds seem to have these golden handcuffs on me and I have been in search of the key for the last 23 years! The good news is that I have found it and I am only weeks away from breaking free from my comfortable salary, great benefits and full pension because all those bells and whistles can't make up for the giant void of unfulfillment in my soul! Sound familiar? I hear that's how this entrepreneurial journey begins...
I am a highly intuitive INFJ (MBTI), I believe they call people like us "empaths", we have an ability to understand people at a deeper level and can take on their energy. During COVID I decided to pursue my professional coaching certification and specialize in the area of growth mindset, mostly to help me outgrow my previous self, level up to pursue my future self, and help other entrepreneurs do the same!
