I became a single mother at the age of 24. MJ hit the nail on the nose when he said "children necessitate consumption". lol With no financial assistance from my son's father, I began work as a customer service representative. I worked a 2nd job after my day job. Early memories of my son are when my mom would sneak him into the back of the coffee shop I worked at in the evenings to be able to cuddle him and tell him how much I loved him. At night, I would come home and cry myself to sleep that I was missing out on my son's vital years. I decided working two jobs had to change so I began researching honest ways to make more money. I began reading best-selling entrepreneurial self-help books. I practiced the techniques I'd read while on the job as a customer service representative. I quickly began receiving more and more raises and soon was able to quit my 2nd job. I continued reading best-selling self-help books with the secret intent to set out on my own. At one point, I was presented a bonus from my employer and officially made over 100k one year as a customer service rep. I discovered MJ's The Fastlane Millionaire book a year ago and read it front to cover in 4 days. I read it again. I was so excited about TFM that I read Unscripted front to cover in 6 days. Then I read it again. And here I am today on The Fastlane Forum. :)
