Real Estate Agent Fastlaners: Time for a Disruption

    REAL ESTATE
What you’re looking for is a mentor. Find one, and then pay him or her. It won’t be cheap, but if the mentor is good it will easily pay for itself.

Personality Isn't Permament, Bejamanin Hardy (Transcend yourself...)

    HOT! BOOKS
Thank you for your book summary @monfii. The past does not equal the future—that can only be true if we allow it. And it’s incredible how far we can go if we have the vision for it. It’s a good reminder, even for people who are “unscripted”, that the ceiling is as low or high as we want it to...

Personality Isn't Permament, Bejamanin Hardy (Transcend yourself...)

I agree that humans are born with some personality. I have seen that in my own children as well. However so it’s not helpful or empowering information, and people vastly underestimate the degree to which they can change themselves.

Health Insurance Options when leaving employer

    HOT!
Quick FYI update from me... I am now officially outside of the W2-sphere and have signed up for a healthcare.gov insurance plan. For our family of four, the current premium is about $1200 monthly, ~$450 we have a tax credit for. As my business becomes more profitable that credit will erode, but...

Are You Taking This Shit To Seriously?

    MINDSET
In general I believe it is that simple, but it’s not just about swinging blindly at the plate, there has to be some thoughtfulness there. I like Tony Robbins’ “Ultimate Success Formula”: Step 1: Decide what you want Step 2: Take action Step 3: Notice what’s working, and what’s not Step 4...

Any Probate Lawyers In The House? Need Help!

    OFF-TOPIC
Watching. Sorry for your situation and also that I don’t have much to offer, the only thing I can say is that to my knowledge if your siblings have been appointed by the court to administer the estate, legally speaking it is true that they can control what happens with the properties, vehicles...

    Sending 1,000 Emails/Day?

    MARKETING
Oh yeah one tip I forgot, make sure you always include an option to unsubscribe at the bottom of your messages. Not including that can be what makes the difference between being considered spam vs. legitimate marketing.

    Sending 1,000 Emails/Day?

    MARKETING
Meaning any address connected with GSuite. I had my email setup with my own domain as well, but because it was running through the google ecosystem, there were algorithms in place to watch out for spikes in emails. I was advised that you can start small and ramp it up however, as a workaround...

    Sending 1,000 Emails/Day?

    MARKETING
Watching. I know if you're sending from a google email address you have to ramp up quite slowly to avoid being marked as a spammer. Not sure about other systems...

@AAR2972 WOW, thanks so much for this awesome, "above and beyond" reply. I really appreciate it and I'll be able to action on the info this coming January (My planned quitting month). I trust others who are more similar to me will find it helpful as well.

Health Insurance Options when leaving employer

    HOT!
Hi all, I’m also looking to leave my employer this year (woop woop!) but instead of being an under 30 single, I’m a 40 year old family guy with a wife and two kids to see to. One of my kids suffers from OCD, the other has mild anxiety and so both need some special attention (our health...

Focus on one business? Yes, but for how long?

    MINDSET
For me it was a year in my first startup. However I was only able to focus on the business part time (due to a 9-5). Had I been at it full time I likely would have wrapped up in 6 months. You should see some incremental progress month over month, if you're not I would set aside time to seriously...

I think I've accidently stumbled upon the cure for obesity.

Knowing nothing about the process to turn this into a financial success, I can say that whatever you have will need to go through rigorous clinical trials to make sure it works on people other than yourself and is safe to use.
