Learn to Code or Drag and Drop?

    SAAS / APPS WEB DESIGN
Speaking as someone who did learn to code and have built multiple Saas businesses in the past couple of years. You probably shouldnt pursue a software idea if you can't code and/or don't have a technical co-founder.

I agree with everything you say, it's just that i've been promoting this thing for 6 months now and there is no real traction or interest. At some point I have to cut my losses and move on. I'll definitely keep it running tho!

Haven't been visiting the forum much in the past few months, I'm trying to keep social media and internet usage to a minimum. Anyways, I wanted to give an update. Currently my Saas has 2 paying customers, i’ve had more but they’ve canceled after the first couple of months. The truth is that my...

CMS or programming website which one is better ?

    SIDE HUSTLE
Go for it. You could set that up with Shopify in a day maybe two. There is no need to build it from scratch, sure you might save $29 but you'll spend 2 months building it.

CMS or programming website which one is better ?

    SIDE HUSTLE
Your customers don't care about what tech you use. What sort of website are you building? you mentioned shopify, if you're starting an ecommerce store then building your own from scratch is "action faking". Get selling as fast as possible and validate your idea/product.

I would only recommend python if you plan on working with big data or AI, that pretty much all it's used for professionally. If you want to build literally anything else than AI then it's better to go with Javascript, Rails or PHP(in that order..) You will get spammed with job offers and be...

I'm hooked! You could give me a billion dollars and i'd still be building software. I like everything about it, Which is probably how i've been able to stick with it. One issue is that I got stuck in "developer mode" for a while there which is why it took a couple months longer than it should...

Been a while.. I started this thread a little over 2 years ago, with a dream of being able to build whatever I want. In that sense you could say I've made it. oh also.. I just launched my first Saas product! It's in the lead generation/marketing space and I have 1 customer so far. Building...

Hey @alexkuzmov , thanks for checking in. I've been wanting to update the thread for a while now. To be honest i feel a bit like a failure, haven't been able to bring myself to write about it. I lost my job and apartment due to covid, or I guess my failure to deal with the situation. After a...

I would never hire a developer without any previous work. So how can i expect someone else too? Anyways it's a few hours away from being done so there's no need to dwell on it. :)

So you want to develop your own website. Really?

    SIDE HUSTLE WEB DESIGN
if you want to build a site with free content and a members area with exclusive content you could do that on wordpress without coding. Youtube/google is your friend. if you want to build software then yes, you either hire or learn it yourself. But ask yourself, is building complicated features...

Check out the odin projects "web dev 101" it's free and i think it's the reason i've learned so much in this little time. They teach you how to actually think like a programmer instead of just teaching you some stuff about programming.

I might lose my job. I work in a department store(major chain) and long story short I've taken over my manager's duties while he is on sick leave (a couple of weeks). Today I was in a meeting with the other managers and the head of the store. I found out that there will be major downsizing...

How i cheated the system and got an apartment

Moved in yesterday. Threw away 90% of my stuff which felt like a big relief. Got lost in IKEA, but made it out a few hundred bucks lighter. Still lots to do but that's not what this thread is about, here are some photos to bring everything full circle.
