I will be a Millionaire by 25. (New Member)

    INTRO
I recommend checking this out: View: https://youtu.be/wAsWbS_1vuY?si=Cnw6lYwE4OWV-rMH Good luck, I fear this is yet another one of those "ventures" you listed. Also, nobody gives a damn how "conditioned your mind is to this mission". The market will be your judge, regardless of what you...

Found this business book from 1994, does it still hold up?

    INVESTING
Staying over at my in-laws for Christmas I found this old 1994 (I believe) book on a shelf and took a look. Most of the stuff inside was extremely technical and only applied to big companies, other stuff aged like milk (hello 2008) but I found some of it that wasn't outdated and was actually...

Making very little sales and not sure about long term with current business - Advice?

    QUESTION
Not an expert but we tried offering an affiliate program on our ecommerce too and we just didn't have the margins for it, it just added an extra useless middleman we couldn't afford. I don't think you can afford to offer an affiliate program unless you are the manufacturer or the person that...

Advice for a 3rd world country Entrepreneur

    EXECUTION
Nigeria is actually the number one country in Africa. I'm sure most people would prefer Italy but I do business there and I dream of the US, it's all relative. The grass is always greener on the other side and you can't just emigrate for no reason. I recommend studying the way your country works...

    Skills

    MINDSET
What are you good at or interested in? What do you see around you that makes you say "I could do it better and I know precisely how"? That would be a good starting point.

Looking for Company that will use for Payment Vehicle

    INTRO
Not an expert on the topic but shady accountants in the country of interest might do it for you for a fee, which should overall be cheaper, easier and more anonymous than setting everything up yourself.

DO NOT DROPSHIP - advice from a dropshipper

    ASSERTION SIDE HUSTLE SOCIAL MEDIA
While I agree with your statement, I feel like your story is incomplete. What did you do after giving up on dropshipping? What would you recommend young people do instead? Writing "high ticket b2b sales" could mean anything and it's certainly not something any young person can set up from their...

My co-founders suck and I don't know what to do

    PEOPLE
I mean it doesn't sound like anybody but you here is enthusiastic enough about this business where you can expect them to actually follow up on whatever they write down, especially given how everybody already has their own careers up and running and not interested in leaving them for this...

Alex hormozi's unconventional goal setting system

    MINDSET
Here's something that works for me: 1. Define your end goal (ex. read a book). 2. Identify a deadline you'd like to do it by (very important, a goal without a time constraint is a dream). 3. Divide the goal into measurable daily steps and execute them each day (very important, they must be...

Finally Entered the Fastlane - Hobby store & Ecommerce - Progress thread

    EXECUTION
Hey all, how are you? I skipped some months because there wasn't much to talk about, just everyday business. We celebrated our first 12 months on Nov 19th, having made sales for about €80,000. That's a lot more than we were expecting! We've been investing most of that throughout the year so no...

How do people get into the "Business mindset"?!

    MINDSET
Our survival instinct makes us natural problem solvers. If you see something high up on a shelf that you can't reach, your brain will automatically think of the most energy-efficient way to get it. Should you step on a chair? Get a ladder? Climb the shelf? Make the item fall down? All living...

Decoding the Real Truth about Wealth and Millionaires...A "Why they're Rich and You're Not" Debate

    MINDSET PEOPLE CHAT
I think your entire argument can be summarized with: the law of affection always applies, no matter where. Waking up at 5 am or reading 800 books a day does not leverage the law and therefore has no correlation with wealth. Living in a big city with lots of connections and opportunities does...

    ASSERTION
You are the one who believes this and are projecting your beliefs on strangers you don't know. I think you joined this forum hoping to find the secret formula for success only to realize there isn't one. What advice did you expect? If you have no money and no skills your only marketable...

How do people get into the "Business mindset"?!

    MINDSET
I don't know exactly how, I think it has to do with being imaginative and creative, to a degree. Or at least that's how it is for me. I've been on holiday for the past two weeks and we went to a lot of small shops to get food. They were all slow and run by families who were passionate about the...

Finally Entered the Fastlane - Hobby store & Ecommerce - Progress thread

    EXECUTION
Thank you for the kind words! Events are definitely a big way to promote the store and make a lot of money in a single day. However, the IP of the games isn't ours and if we want to be official stores there's policies to follow. Unfortunately at this time tournaments can't be played online using...

Hundreds In Ad Spend - ZERO Sales

    MARKETING
I've had a shopify store for the past year but it's not pure ecommerce because it's an extension of our brick and mortar store (we sell collectible card games mostly). We don't rely on it, not right now anyway, and our efforts are currently spent on the physical side of the business. What I've...

    SMMA: The Fool's Gold

    RANT
Slightly unrelated topic but I noticed this too and coined a phrase I find myself going back to often: "people like me don't work for people like me". I wish they did because I could really use their help, but they don't. Like me, they are busy doing their own things.

    walking the walk

    MINDSET QUESTION
You can't pin everything under being bad at customer service. Players need advice on their decks, they want to know what cards they can find in what sets, they need you to find singles for them, they want to tell you about their latest creation and have your approval, they need organized events...

    walking the walk

    MINDSET QUESTION
I personally disagree with this. There's another section in the book that talks about Lebron James shooting hoops 24/7 in reference of how you should be monogamous with your business to be good at it. I don't think you can achieve that level of skill if you don't even like basketball. It's true...

Maybe the slowlane is better than the Fastlane

    MINDSET SLOWLANE SCALING
The big difference is TIME. Work on upwork will never end, you'll have to do it your whole life. Your landry business will eventually make money on its own, but it's naturally 10x harder to accomplish. The result, however, is true freedom. To me, that's worth pursuing.
