    Handmade - handyman`s progress thread

    EXECUTION
Lots of time between my posts here. But I am not lazy - I am busy :-) So, we passed a threshold of $50000 revenue per month. 2-3 teams constantly busy. LLC finally formed (I am an employee again after 2.5 years, yey! Boss is an a**hole, meh!) Started working strongly with agencies and mentors...

    EXECUTION
Just to mark it here. Today got my first payment on my LLC. Before it was a bunch of sole proprietors. And today also I got first paid by credit card, not via bank transfer or cash. Sum is a small one for us, lowest daily. But a small step for LLC - a huge leap for Max.

Struggling to start? Find a friend to do it with

    MINDSET PEOPLE EXECUTION
I`d wanr you about two caveates here First, a wantapreneur rarely attracts an entrepreneur as a friend. So looking for a friend to start a business with can itself fail. Looking for a mentor may be a better way. Second, failing in a group is much easier than alone. One falls behind, the other...

Audio vs physical books - my small epiphany

    BOOKS STORY
I have just had an epiphany I wanted to share. For the last decade my way to consume books was listening to them. That is how I consumed MJ`s books (bought from Audible), Hormozi books, "Lord of the rings" several times (I highly recommend the version recorded by Andy Serkis) and so on. And...

    Sales Feedback Groups, anyone interested?

    MINDSET FEEDBACK
Hello to you I am NOT interested. But I think it might be valuable to you to know why I am not interested. See, I do the majority of sales in my company. I did not have any formal sales training, I just read books, make my product better and learn as I go. I see myself as fairly successful in...

That one Alex Hormozi idea I keep returning to

    MARKETING
Sorry for the rant, but it is 5 AM at my place, and I just have no one to share my experience with. And even if it were a more "godly" time, still, no one to share this with, as I do not have lots of entrepreneurs in my circle. So I have had my small Rope access business I keep developing for 2...

INTRO -- Corporate tech guy looking to escape the 9-5

    INTRO
Small advice from a guy who went through the same pathway: 1. Start hustling in your after hours (weekends, evenings), do not leave your job 2. Consider leaving your job when your hustle starts earning you AT LEAST the same gross amount as your job AND you are positive it is NOT a fluke. That...

    Intro

    INTRO
As someone who started on this path three years ago, I can assure you that it is hard and unrewarding at times. If you want to make it easier, I have a rule I used at the start. Take some defined time (mine was 2 hours before work, 2 hours after work each day and the whole of Fridayas Friday...

    EXECUTION
A small "up" We are 6 people now. Today worked on 4 different projects simultaneously. Revenue today for the first time was more than 4000 USD, meaning that it might be the first step to $1 mil in revenue, assuming 250 workdays a year, 4000 USD per day is 1 mil. Joined EOA in Israel last...

Still don’t want to forever be in the slowlane

    MINDSET SLOWLANE FEEDBACK
Whenever I see posts like this, I always wonder. Like, man, why do you dig for water in the desert when there are rivers around? In all corners of the Earth, there are people who exchange money every day. Many of those people have common things they pay for. Everyone needs milk, everyone needs a...

My Journey | From Self-Sabotage to Growth

    SIDE HUSTLE MINDSET
I was in the same loop for more than a decade. I do not know if my reason is relevant but I will share it because maybe it is. Eventually I found out that I was self-sabotaging because of... the women in my life. Deep inside me lived (and still live) a feeling that building a successful...

What differentiates a business person from everybody else

    MINDSET
Not denying everything above, but I would add my take that always causes argument. Business people are internally very altruistic even if they do not understand it. An average person on the job thinks about themselves first and about their employer`s needs second and only under threat of...

An antidote to manager frustration - an anti-todo list

    MINDSET
In his book "High output management" Andrew Grove (former CEO of Intel) wrote a phrase that stuck with me: "A manager`s work is never done". What he ment is that whenever manager is working, he or she is in a constant flux of never ending tasks. Manager gathers info, manager controls and manager...

    Dubai: what’s your opinion?

    HOT! OFF-TOPIC
I can drop some insight from our side of the desert. I live in Israel and some years ago we normalized ties to UAE during Trump`s first term. When Suez was blocked for several days in 2021 by that big-a$$ container carrier, we here started hearing the news of two major projects going on: 1. A...
