New Rep System, Some Other Things...

I didn't think about it like that. Good point, MJ.

    Boxing Day Bootstrapping

@RichKid you make it look so easy. Good for you man :)

New Rep System, Some Other Things...

@TopChef makes some good points. Very true. A lot of posts may get "likes/thanks" that don't really contribute any value. For example, fairly recently i posted a funny gif pic that got a few likes but in reality how much value did that pic really add? None. Also a valid point. I do think the...

Sorry, I have to ask. Was this a serious question?

Destinations, Tax Havens, and Countries to "Escape" To

    OFF-TOPIC TAXES | REGS
Thanks @GlobalWealth for the knowledge you provided in this thread. This wasn't to me, but I took your advice anyways. Done :)

Banking system is pretty cool! I think I get it.. Is it basically we get money by people speeding us and we can use the money we get to pay others? Or something like that? Can you explain how it works exactly MJ?

Asking for opinions for my website idea

    IDEA
I like the idea at first glance. I'm just not sure if there is a market for it or not. What would make people want to go to your site versus just going on facebook, twitter, or a sports site with live interaction? Not to mention, a lot of "true sports fans" like to shut everything else out and...

Just launched my brand new site!

    HOT!
Just so you know, this thread is going to be indexed by google unless you have it moved to the insiders or speedway etc. You may want to ask someone to move the thread for you. (Although, I see you aren't an Insider so.... idk?) Anyways, really cool domain name. Didn't have time to check out...

    MLM Harassment

Story 1: The Amway Guy So about 3 or 4 months ago a guy a couple years older than me, probably about 23 or 24, approached me at work and started telling me about an internet marketing business he's involved with and how some of the people he is working with are in the Orlando area (couple hrs...

    The "New" Fastlane Forum

To me the ads are not a big deal, especially when you consider how much value this forum provides to all of us. The ads IN the actual threads that break up text were a little tacky but that get's eliminated with an Insiders membership :). But as far as the couple ads at the top and on the side...

8 Eyewear: From Idea, to Launch, to Growth (And Quitting the Job)

    IDEA
Hey Vick, site looks great. I have an idea for you to maybe try with the layout to see how it looks. Instead of the moving image of the sunglasses moving across the entire page how about making the left side where the logo is and the "home", "V.1", "Buy Now" etc a still image and having the...

Something strange I've noticed about entrepreneurs...

I think you're talking about the whole "in love with the IDEA of being in business but not actually wanting to take the necessary steps to actually BE in business" thing. And as far as the whole facebook thing goes, like @AllenCrawley mentioned, it's quite easy to filter your facebook in a way...

    Started a bodyweight fitness website

    EXECUTION
Love the domain! And as already mentioned, I don't see anything unique about the site. What are you currently or planning on eventually offering that will help the site stand out more? Blog posts, ebooks, and the like all sound like every other site out there. Which, some of those other sites...

    Developed site, but what now?

    WEB/DIGITAL
Mj took the words right out of my mouth. I had the same reaction. I loved the concept, how the site looked etc. And then I read Vigilante's post and I was like.. "....oh yea." BUT, I still think you should pursue this idea! I do think there is quite a bit of truth to what Vigilante said about...

New here, could use some advice on my website

The concept of these sites was to have communication and share what you are up to and what you are all about with your friends, your family, your fans, and or colleagues etc. NOT to bad mouth other people for no good reason. I never said people wouldn't care. I said "I honestly don't see who...

New here, could use some advice on my website

Wow, great attitude buddy. Nice little way to make an entrance there. How is a "Terms and Rules" going to solve anything? People are going on here to anonymously bad mouth people.. The people who are being talked about obviously won't be agreeing to any "Terms and Rules". And one last thing...

    Should I Build My Credit?

    HOT!
But you wouldn't normally just use credit to get a business off the ground, right? Or would you? You only did that because the business was already running and profitable? So in other words you weren't risking wasting the 1M. I'm new to this. Just trying to get it through my head :)

I appreciate everyone's input :) Hey zend***phin, thanks for chiming in. Do you mind giving me a real world example of this?
