Rank and Rent SEO - thoughts and resources?

Same skillset for sure. Why do you think business owners wouldn't buy? You don't really need to be tech-savvy. Just curious, not doubting!

Rank and Rent SEO - thoughts and resources?

I've been really curious about "Rank and Rent" Lead-Gen lately. I've found a course on it but from what I could find online it's 6,000 F*cking dollars! For the uninitiated: Create a website for a local business niche eg "Louisville Locksmiths" Rank the Site on Google Fwd calls from the landing...

    Rest In Peace Jack Welch

Bummer. My grandfather was a GE engineer and a Jack Welch advocate, always had his books laying around. Guy made some awesome contributions to the world.

    EXECUTION
I'm intrigued and I like cool cars. :) Can you mention some of the resources you found most helpful for acquiring a business? Sounds like Biophase's thread and other things. I'm in the same process of looking at a SaaS company to potentially purchase and so I devour any and all info I can One...

    EXECUTION
This is really interesting to hear. I picked up one of those “work for yourself from home” magazines the other week at Barnes and Noble to see what was in it. One of these business directory websites was there. The idea was that you’d pay for the software and for it to be setup and then go out...

    $70,490.35 In January

My god man, those are some fat stacks! Congrats on your success. I've been considering a YouTube channel myself. I'll admit I wanted to do it a while ago and probably got discouraged by the cries of it being too late. It is almost never too late. Great vid.

I’m a software developer in need of something to build

Find a problem you have that can be solved via software, or start doing more things so you have more problems that can be solved via software. All the problems are not solved. "The world is not ideal"

    Small Scale Manufacturing Machines

    HOT!
I'm probably picking up a printer today :) It's been too long. I don't expect to get rich though, printing takes forever...how could you ever scale if you needed to crank out a lot of stuff? get more hardware I guess. Maybe custom design or selling the files would scale a lot better. on the...

    Small Scale Manufacturing Machines

    HOT!
3d printing is a hell of a lot of fun. I got into it ~2014 and wish I stuck with the community. Thinking about getting back in. What could you make that could make money? Or how could you brainstorm things to make? The lost wax thing is really interesting too...I could see some kind of custom...

Buying Internet Sites. 3 small sites vs. 1 large site. Feedback Needed.

Killer, acquisition entrepreneurship doesn't seem like a bad angle. I'm interested in the same but it's a lot of work to vet and find businesses where everything checks out. If you haven't already checked it out Ryan Kulp's Microacquisitions course is dead on for this strategy. He goes over...

How would you make money on a 18k FB group?

    SOCIAL MEDIA
Hope you guys don't mind the post resurrection I run 2 FB groups with ~16k and 5k members each. I've collectively made ~$14k on both over the past year or so. Not nothing, not fastlane (yet). I'm learning and growing both. Here's a few ideas: -Definitely build a seperate community / email...

First Fastlane Month, Feels Amazing! $65,000+ Revenue Pre-tax

    GOLD! TAXES | REGS
Cool, definitely makes sense. Def agree on devs not being salesmen all the time. How did you make the transition from being a developer to learning sales skills and management skills for the developers? What has been helpful?

Where do you find work that pays that much? I imagine you have a network or some kind of pipeline. I'd agree fighting for work on Upwork is not the way forward. (I built a startup for that purpose, EarlyBrd.io :smile2: )

the only thing I take offense at is suggesting python is a poor choice or that it is not used in production. We’d agree on the other points. I think it’s important that anyone reading who isn’t well versed has an objective view. I always revert to the viewpoint that the customer will never know...

First Fastlane Month, Feels Amazing! $65,000+ Revenue Pre-tax

    GOLD! TAXES | REGS
You made a lot of claims that I think are inaccurate, not that it matters too much. I wouldn't say data science is the only reason python has been gaining rapid growth. The language is used in many, many disciplines and domains. Flask and Django are awesome web frameworks and although they are...

The MAIN difference between someone who makes 100k /year and someone who makes 1m?

    GOLD!
Fair enough -- I love the financial samurai btw :) Alright, enough derailing. I don't make a million bucks yet but I've made six figures so I can't exactly answer this question, yet. I think the scale idea makes a lot of sense though. Doing what you are successfully en masse will bring riches.
