Looking for peers: absolute beasts in full stack software engineering

    PEOPLE
I should have made it clear that I'm looking for skillful software engineers who are also entrepreneurs - decision-makers, CEOs, not just a cog in the machine. Start-up coworking spaces are a great idea, thanks Knugs!

    PEOPLE
Having friends in the same entrepreneurial journey as you is absolutely amazing! However, my friends aren't into technology as much as I am. Any tips on how to find wannabe absolute beasts in full stack software engineering or mentors who have already become that? Tried Bumble BFF...

Starting a YouTube Channel. Let's start getting creative again...

    EXECUTION
I agree. All of the course's content can be found online for free. Besides having the content all in one place, for me, the value of such a course is that it conveys a hierarchical structure of what's relevant and what you shouldn't pay attention to. When all the information is scattered you...

    EXECUTION
Hey bro, congratulations on re-starting your YouTube channel. I've been actively recording YouTube videos for the past 6 months. My niche is software engineering and my videos are very technical, so I've only grown to a little over 100 subscribers in this time. I am, however, deeply enjoying...

What has been GOOD about quarantine/corona for you?

    HOT! EXECUTION
This pandemic has been wonderful for me. Here's why: 1. It's been an absolute pleasure seeing a level of compassion I haven't seen before and seeing mankind collaborate at a worldwide scale. 2. Because I tutor college students online I've had quite a bit more business than usual 3. I've taken...

    HOT! MINDSET
That is the question one needs to ask if we want to live a meaningful life. You need to find the answer on your own and be careful not to adopt anyone else's ideas. With that said, here are my life goals: 1. Become a world-class full stack software engineer (using my own definition of...

Awakening From The Meaning Crisis by Dr. John Vervaeke

    MINDSET
Hello fellow fastlaners. Searching the forums I've found no mention of this spectacular series by Dr. John Vervaeke. John provides a deeply philosophical and scientific account of meaning and enlightenment, touching on themes such as depression, the experience of flow, the religious and...

Does everyone struggle to learn code?

    HOT! MINDSET
If you want to handle whatever a customer throws at you, you don't need to know anything. Just use Just-In-Time learning. This is a viable path if you don't mind putting in the hours of required study. My personal experience tells me this is a really bad professional path to take because you'll...

Hi Aurelius and welcome to the forum. This question is very important, so allow me to go deep. Decision making is an extremelly valuable skill to have and most people don't know how to make decisions, because that's not taught in schools. When faced with any decision, ask yourself what your...
