Nope, I'll say to myself, this person has admitted that he tries to (legally) fool customers. I'll go and buy from that person over there, who is a bit more expensive, but I trust a hell of a lot more. I'm not going to give him a chance to fool me once. Exactly why we'll never do business together.

In this case a "Goody Tissue" is someone who believes misleading people for money is wrong. I think you'll find I'm not in the minority here. Translation: Ripping people off is fine, as long as you profit from it. I'm struggling to think of an example of such. Agreed, however that is what the...

He asks that question in the video, and the answer is simple. Because those games are not very good at making money, they are just good at getting people to download. The civilisation games can be monetised in so many different ways, and the people who get addicted to them, are totally fine with it.

I wasn't talking about saving the planet, I was talking about behaving in an ethical non-scammy way. Don't you agree? Or are you saying you don't mind ripping people off or deceiving them, so long as you make money?

The video below describes how mobile game companies have found a very unethical way to make A LOT of money. They basically advertise a game that doesn't truly exist, at least not in the sense they advertise it. The game acts as a hook to get you to download, once you have the game you realise...

    The Personal Branding Chat Thread

    NOTABLE! HOT! CHAT
Very true what you say, especially the last bit. I think our personal brands grow organically, but it's probably prudent to try and promote the "best of yourself". I believe there are some people out there who aren't even aware that the best thing they do, is hidden from the general public. It...

Sorry Andy, I didn't make it clear. I was just pointing out that personal branding for the likes of us, is very different. You clearly help a lot of people, and I think THAT is your personal brand.

    NOTABLE! HOT! CHAT
When someone who is already a billionaire hires someone to boost their "personal brand", what they are doing is trying to get everyone to like them so that they can go into politics and/or cover up shitty behaviour. This does not scan for normal, every day people. We only need a personal brand...

    How do you manage knowledge/information

    QUESTION
Forgive me, I got the title slightly wrong (although I'm surprised it didn't come up in the Amazon search). The full title is, Ultralearning: Accelerate Your Career, Master Hard Skills and Outsmart the Competition by Scott H. Young, Scott Young, et al.

Starting online vape/nicotine pouch business from UK

    IDEA
That's a good point, I don't vape myself but I've heard quite a few people ask for tobacco flavour vapes, so the chew pouches will probably take off here.

    Ethical Business Practice?

    MARKETING
As soon as I saw your post, I thought to myself, well, if you have to ask, it probably isn't ethical. Then I opened it and laughed. Of course it isn't ethical.

Pretty sure this will be heavily regulated in the UK, plus you'll be part of an industry that is actively trying to get kids addicted to vapes.

You already solve problems, people need to learn English for whatever reason, and you teach them. The only thing is you do it for a company who pay you a salary, right? So start by trying to get some private clients, maybe some well-to-do parents who want their children to learn English, or some...

Cool, a lot of people have had good results from that school. I haven't done web design, but I was an editor and if you go really far back, I was a fashion photographer.

No worries, like I said before, the button style you used on the "see my work" button is cool. If I am looking to hire a web designer, then seeing cool little features like that will help convince me that the person understands design. So anything else like that you can add in, will help...

Functionality: It takes too long to load, maybe you can do something about optimising those images. The yellow highlight over the words "Web Designer" and "Webflow" is a little confusing, design-wise it's not appealing and it looks like the highlights you've used for your buttons in the top...
