Best Way to Move from EU to US? Any Success Stories?

    HOT! OFF-TOPIC
Yeah that's true. You can probably start offline businesses with little capital. I wonder if that's possible in Italy, though (since you have to pay the government even if you make 0 sales...). Today I realized there's always a way to solve a problem...and I'm not talking about business, I'm...

How do you get the most out of tutorials/Udemy courses?

    SIDE HUSTLE WEB DESIGN
That sounds like an awesome idea. Basically translating the process into simple words. In the past I've always told myself "ah it's too hard, I guess coding is not for me", but in reality, I wasn't even pushing myself and was just making excuses. I guess that's what stops most people from...

How do you get the most out of tutorials/Udemy courses?

    SIDE HUSTLE WEB DESIGN
Thank you, I'll try finding a project based course on Node. I picked Node in particular to create some back-end stuff and make websites actually functional and useful. I've heard PHP is not the best way to go in 2020. And that's true, it takes a lot of practice. I believe it's normal to get...

How do you get the most out of tutorials/Udemy courses?

    SIDE HUSTLE WEB DESIGN
I bought different courses on Udemy in the past on JavaScript and it always ended up bad. Bad in the sense that every course seems to be filling your head with lots of theory which is very hard to apply in a real life context and application. I'm currently following a Node.JS course and I'm...

    HOT! OFF-TOPIC
Did you really struggle to find a job? I remember a post of yours (correct me if I'm mistaken) where you said you have 2 degrees and a Masters or something like that. Haven't those helped at all? How many applications did you send and what was the response rate? Anyways, getting a job isn't the...

Nice, one more obstacle to deal with. Well, even in Italy illegal immigrants are viewed the same. But yeah, I don't intend to get there illegally, cause that means one day (sooner or later) I'll be deported back in Italy and I'll be blacklisted from the USA for 10 years. For now I'll follow...

Best Way to Move from EU to US? Any Success Stories?

    HOT! OFF-TOPIC
I'm quite sure Spain is already better than Italy. I've seen a lot of internet companies established in Spain who sell themselves as "Italian" companies. That makes me wonder. I see what you mean. You are saying that all this thing I have is just a huge bias. I honestly doubt it's that way...

Best Way to Move from EU to US? Any Success Stories?

    HOT! OFF-TOPIC
Yeah man, the lack of control at a job creates anxiety. I can't imagine getting fired and having to go back to my country lol. I think as long as you create enough value for the company you shouldn't have any problem, though. Getting a master in USA really seems to be the "easiest" way. It kind...

Yet another marketing agency progress thread..

    MARKETING
Do you have a website? I'm thinking of doing something similar. Selling web design services + funnels/fb ads. I'm struggling picking up a niche, though. Have you done some research before picking that niche? Are there other people who are selling to financial advisors?

Thanks a lot. I'll keep this in mind. I really believe you about the environmental attitude and mindset. That stuff is very powerful and the right influence might turn the worst loser into a successful man. At the end of the day, we are always being conditioned and influenced by somebody, you...

I know what you mean. I have to research that, but I'm sure there must be a way since there are many people from third-world countries who managed to move that way. Another option I've read is to get hired by a company (in Europe) which has offices in the USA, and eventually, ask for transfer.

I've never seen that list before, wow, 74th. You just added fire to my desire to get out from here lol. I feel like I'm wasting my life literally. I thought of the USA in particular cause that's always been a dream of mine and I feel like the environment is a huge factor as you said...

Thanks for the input! I definitely see this as a long process and I expect a lot of obstacles throughout the way but there's no point of ever giving up for me since this is probably my only real goal right now.

I've been thinking about this for months now and I'm really determined to make this happen. I currently live in Italy and I'd do anything to move in the USA. I've done some research and yep, it's not easy. But I honestly won't stop in front of the "entry barriers". I'm currently in University...

Learning to Program is STUPID! (or SMART?!)

    GOLD! HOT!
The worst thing I've done was reading these posts and wander around for months thinking "Should I or shouldn't I?" instead of just doing shit. I think it's highly subjective whether someone should code or not, but the worst thing you can do is keep asking that question over and over instead of...

Do I Have a Chance? YouTube Niche struggle

    HOT!
Fair question. I'd probably keep going cause I see more potential in the long-term for a worldwide audience. In Italy, there's surely might be potential progress in the very long-term, but the payoff wouldn't be that big. CPM is very low in Italy. But your question makes sense. This is exactly...

So, I Have 1000€ to Invest + Some Skills: Thinking of Attempting Dropshipping

    HOT! SIDE HUSTLE
Oh man, I can't even remember. I was 13 when I started. I started by doing YouTube banners for people for free. Then I started making YouTube banners for members in CoD teams which were quite notorius back then. I then joined many of these teams and on Twitter everyone used to have the "team...

Thanks man, that's truly appreciated! And I agree with the "take a decision yourself" thing. I came to realize that the less I'm able to make decisions by my own self, the more problems I encounter in life. Gotta take extreme ownership and be okay with making mistakes and learning from them no...

I'll give that a try, too. I'm quite confused lately. I remember that when I used to make money effortlessly with graphic design it was because I was "famous" in the Call of Duty community on Twitter and people were retweeting my stuff and it was really easy to get clients that way. But now...
