Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATChatGPT API wrappers are useful and easy to create. I see dozens of solopreneurs advertising their own on Twitter (some of them with 5 or 6 figures MRR). It's great, but it violates the commandments of Entry and Control. OpenAI changes the rules? You're dead. Some prick copycats your idea and...- KiwiEC

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer
- AI -OK so what happened this weekend with OpenAI is basically a remake of Game of Thrones. For those who are lost or did not follow up (which is pretty understandable), here is a small recap. It's based on what I found on X (which was the main place to get some news) and my personal understanding...- KiwiEC

Best ways there are to get to know "like-minded" people in real life?
MEETUPSBig +1 on this, especially Twitter/X. I always thought this site was just a big pile of garbage. In the end, it really depends of what you do with it. Want to discuss about politics, celebrities, cat pictures or bikini ladies? Well, your feed (and so your network) will be a pile of sh*it...- KiwiEC

I've Read UNSCRIPTED!
GOLD! HOT!I just finished to read it. I deliberately took my time to read it after getting started with TMF. To me, reading the 3 books in a row is a bit of action faking. The first book changed my mind (and I hope my life too, I'm working on it at 200%), this second book was a big "to go further". The...- KiwiEC

HOT! CHATThanks @StrikingViper69 and @Matt Sun for your feedback. I needed to know a few brands I can trust. You both mentionned Yamaha so I will probably choose that one. I would like to learn pop/rock songs from various artists/bands, this includes french songs too. At some point with more experience...- KiwiEC

HOT! CHATAny guitar enthusiasts here? My gf started asking what I want for Xmas. I'm never comfortable with this question, especially because I don't like to receive gifts. I'm way happier when I give. I'm considering going back to guitar. I took courses in my teenage years and enjoyed it. I need...- KiwiEC

INTROWelcome! Good to have you with us. This is an impressive progression in only 6 months, congrats. Be careful with passions. The market doesn't care what you like to do. That being said, if frontend dev is your passion you will find easily some people who need your skills.- KiwiEC

Fight The Spam! Bring Forth The Poop!
OFF-TOPICTheir return of investment for spamming the forum must be very low, if not zero. Most of the people here are not dumb enough to click on something like this. I hope they will make this conclusion too, and will redirect their effort towards something more mainstream like Reddit or Twitter.- KiwiEC
