Hello! This is my [rather long] story of the past 5 years.
INTROHi Cam. Welcome. Your story isn't unlike many I've read on here in the little while I've been a member. I myself just came across the MFL and then Unscripted as a follow up. I had been a serial business faker for years and now at 47 years old realize I wasted a lot of good years. I work a full...- RobD88

Never too old to get started right?
INTROSo momentum continued last night. Worked on some operational issues and did some market research. Decided I needed to start tracking my time & financials and created an Excel workbook to load all of my monthly information into that will show me time, income/revenue, expenses, net results, etc...- RobD88

Unscripted: Process Principle question
MINDSETWhile you have no way of knowing you can still take action. It's marketing 101...make an educated guess at what you think will drive traffic to your video. Implement that action and track the results (views). If you see an increase determine if it was a direct result of that action. If so...- RobD88

Never too old to get started right?
INTROActually already read it. I didn't like it much. This was my review on Amazon: "I’m all for tried and true business philosophy but the advice in this book is a bit outdated. The basic concepts are okay but the advised application doesn’t fit today’s world. The author spouts delivering value...- RobD88

Unscripted: Process Principle question
MINDSETI feel a lot of business decisions are stabs in the dark. What makes them successful or not is whether or not they are educated guesses. Once you divide your process up into actionable steps and then take action you simply document the results of each action. What worked, what didn't work. Plan...- RobD88

Sourcing Manufacturers
SOURCINGSourcing is what I currently do in my slowlane day job. It's actually not hard. It just requires a lot of leg work. You will have to make calls, send email inquiries and vet out possible manufacturers. There will be many available. A simple search for garment manufacturers online will yield all...- RobD88

Never too old to get started right?
INTROSo I have to say I'm pretty excited. I started building my first website last night and learning the software program & hosting site that publishes it. I have a business concept that will allow me to give back to children within a large global community. I was able to put a solid rough draft...- RobD88

Never too old to get started right?
INTROWeird to think that "comfortable" can be icky but it is. I am so eager to be in control of my own destiny even though it will put me out of my comfort zone. We grow up being taught to build a comfortable life yet it's discomfort that makes us change our habits for the better.- RobD88

What would you do at 16?
HOT!Personally, I wasted my teen years partying too much. I didn't take school or commitment seriously. I regret that to this day. I believe in both a millionaire fastlane mentality and an education. If I were 16 I'd think about what knowledge would give me the most controllable unlimited leverage...- RobD88
