Are we living in an advanced simulation?
HOT!2nd time this has been brought up and I'm having a hard time conceptualizing it, from a purely physical sense. Let's say we do live in the real world. There is in fact a strong argument, when you pose the question, why is there something rather than nothing? If we live in a "Zero Energy...- ApparentHorizon

Author spent 5 years interviewing 177 selfmade millionaires to find their secrets. Findings inside.
MINDSET FEATURED!It gets better The stats are 5% chance of success to start a business. So 10 businesses = 60% chance of success The problem with this is you assume 5% every time you start. When in reality, as more knowledge you acquire the higher your probability. I can't find the stat, but it was something...- ApparentHorizon

Are we living in an advanced simulation?
HOT!I don't know if I'm reading this correctly, but are you assuming Plank is attributing his length theory to a mind realm? Seems to be material imo. As I mentioned earlier, if you have infinite complexity, a simulation may not be plausible. Check out Claude Shannon. "The father of the...- ApparentHorizon

Are we living in an advanced simulation?
HOT!True lol That's a good point. "God made us in his image" as it were. The problem with these laws is we're limited by our (?) tools. We see fractals in nature, but how far down do they actually go? Max Plank said there is a unit of measurement that's so small, that anything after that is...- ApparentHorizon

What are some of the ways YOU gain CLARITY on complex decisions/problems?
MINDSET FEATURED!By studying up. Refreshing the fundamentals. Exploring opposing opinions. Looking at seemingly unrelated industries, and how they solve similar problems. At the end of the day though, I'm the bottleneck. Something is a problem b/c of my lack of understanding, ego, or some other nonsense...- ApparentHorizon

Are we living in an advanced simulation?
HOT!Well if the Indians are right, you'll reincarnate based on what you don in this life. :) Why do they have format our hard drives tho. I was literally just writing the same thing as you posted. Are we living in an advanced simulation?
HOT!Do you really have to simulate the ENTIRE universe? This is a game called Horizon, and what you're seeing is the world rendering only where the user looks. https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--iGTq2Ic3--/c_scale,fl_progressive,q_80,w_800/ucoln8kedwfglsrlxvm5.gif General...- ApparentHorizon

Redesign of a Ferrari product page. My first time writing Ad copy. I impressed myself. Thoughts?
HOT! MARKETINGHow important is visual flow and do you have any recommended reading on this? I've noticed better engagement when headlines are longer than the subheadline, rather than vice-versa. Your Headline Goes Here Buy This Now vs Your Headline Here Buy This Cool Trinket Now This popped up in my...- ApparentHorizon

What's going on with Elon Musk? Eccentric or going mad?
HOT! PEOPLEOr...ok now follow this. He doesn't have funds secured, but still wants to take it private. The board would never have approved it. But now since it's a legal liability to deny approval, it gives Musk the upper hand. #evilGenius- ApparentHorizon

Harvard Business Review finds exactly what makes certain images/posts go viral. Findings inside.
MARKETINGIf you spend enough time in this space you start seeing the patterns. The way they talk: Always for or against an agenda, with unsubstantiated comments. The sloppy ones copy and paste text. Their profile: Anonymous, or a carbon copy of another profile. (Reverse image search or exact match...- ApparentHorizon

Harvard Business Review finds exactly what makes certain images/posts go viral. Findings inside.
MARKETINGI wonder what kind of impact the economy has on that sentiment. Memes as we know them have really only been around for the past 10 years. There was one study on cars, showing people liked happy faces during recessions and aggressive during bull markets. 2018 2010- ApparentHorizon

Does the music you listen to affect your enteripenural efforts?
OFF-TOPICJust listen to the ones that talk about money and hoes. Problem Solved! I think music is more like video games. Just because you listen to gang bangers doesn't mean you'll go out and do something stupid. Though if you have an inclination towards a mentality. Say...playing the victim. What's going on with Elon Musk? Eccentric or going mad?
HOT! PEOPLEWell let's not pretend those record number of shorts aren't actively trying to do the same. AKA, the people who wish your company to go bankrupt for their own gain. Fight fire with fire. Either that, or TSLA is screwed and this is the most elaborate pot joke to go out in a blaze of glory. I...- ApparentHorizon

MINDSET FEATURED!Not verbatim in the study itself, but check the references if you're seriously considering it. You can easily try it out online, as well. 3 forums and/or social networks: 1. Building a SaaS based on Wordpress?
HOT! SAAS / APPSJava is bloated, slow, and takes longer to develop, as compared to something like NodeJS. They're just pitching you what they know. Bootstrap is good for your frontend, however.
