    Online smokeshop. Yes or no?

They're a rollup company. Acquiring web hosts and aggressively cutting costs. Personally I've used Hostgator and Bluehost. BH recently had a security breach. Their auto scripts, like SSL don't sync up, so you have to go in and do it manually every 3 months. Support is pure garbage. Tier 2...

    Online smokeshop. Yes or no?

These builder platforms lack in SEO functionality. SquareSpace is decent, but still missing a few features, last I checked. WordPress has a few page builders if you don't want to program or hire a coder. Divi, Elementor and Beaver are some of the most popular. These have drawbacks as well...

    Online smokeshop. Yes or no?

Look into Shopify or WooCommerce instead. Ditch hostgator or any EIG hosts. ( Endurance International Group - Wikipedia ) Your best bet is an AWS server if you can help it. If not, GoDaddy will be fine to get your foot in the door. That's something you'll have to find out yourself. What are...

Speed Reading: Is it worth it?

    HOT!
There are tricks to speed read. IDK where they're taught or where they come from, b/c I have yet to find anything similar. But, someone showed me this and I use it to skim while retaining info. VS Speed reading full words and barely understanding.

My biggest purchase…$40k SaaS stock trading platform, using $28k of debt

    SAAS / APPS EXECUTION
PP will freeze your funds when too many people charge back. Often after they've blown up their account, and blame the platform instead of taking responsibility. I'm part of a day trading room where the owner had $70k stuck for 3 months. Since he's running WordPress, a stripe or square gateway...

    The "Second Renaissance"

OP was referencing the internet. Tech continues evolving. Energy. Interplanetary travel. AI. ... Also the Renaissance wasn't an event. It spanned a couple hundred years with periods of peaks and lulls. We're in a slow phase now, and we could continue sliding down. Market has been sideways...

    The "Second Renaissance"

Renaissance phase is over. Platforms are being consolidated and other people decide what you're allowed to put up and say.

    Sales for the introverted

I think we need to separate introversion vs social retardation. The brain only has so much space to grow, and as you're developing, you spend the majority of your time in front of gadgets and computers. But, the brain doesn't fully develop until age 25. Even then, there's plenty of...

    What Do Productive People Do?

    HOT! MINDSET
Productive people are EFFICIENT How long is your morning routine? How long is your commute? How long until you "get into the swing of the day?" A study in the UK showed, the average salaried person is productive for 2 hours and 53 minutes. The rest of their day is broken up as follows...

Idea: technology to improve road safety

    IDEA
They'll have to do it if they ever want to compete in the self driving market. And you can make a system like that in your own garage for under 1k. If you know how to program. You start out selling them to bus operators and gov't orgs. Maybe to mechanics and dealerships so they can resell...

Idea: technology to improve road safety

    IDEA
Sounds like a patentable idea, and you'll have a couple of decades to sell as many as you can before self driving is the norm. It might even be one of those things mandatory in new cars. Installed on the front bumper. Or maybe something plugged into the 12v or USB and stick it on your...

Another way I've seen it done is by taking everything in your room, or garage, and imagining you had to liquidate everything. Then writing headlines + copy for every single item.

    Marketing that Got Your Attention!

    MARKETING
Sell Me This PEN! It's been a while since a piece of marketing grabbed my attention. Between the email templates, and the generic flyers. The industry still continues to suffer from ad blindness and the ever increasing noise of digital outreach. However, today I received a peculiar envelope...

Teaching People How to Memorize Books Online (Progress Thread)

    EXECUTION
Looks great! The description under the menu items is unique. What does the sidebar look like if it's simpler? The coloring makes me want to group Anki + Intelligence + Major System, etc. under some sort of label/category in my mind. Not sure if that's intentional.

    INVESTING
Same thing with the 8%, it's from observation of previous data. Not my own, but I'm double checking it. It's based on William O'Neil's growth stock strategy: "CANSLIM" C - Compare this years quarter to last ( instead of the previous quarter, like most people do! ) A - Annual earnings N - New...

Millennials are a mirror image of the older gen. 2 sides of the same coin. Neither are taking responsibility for their actions, and both point the finger at each other. "Let everyone sweep in front of his own door, and the whole world will be clean" - Goethe
