Few know that Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift are among the top business people of all time. Those who laugh at this statement don't know what it takes to succeed.

How do you develop authority to deal with people?

    HOT!
You're close. Some people will punish you if you cross the line but you wont care - they have no authority. Others will punish you, and you will care very much - they have authority. What's the basis of that authority? Whats the difference between those who have, and those who do not...

There are two types of people: those you can mess with, and those you cannot. They respectively look like this: I don't think many people would mess with JK Simmons from Whiplash. On the other hand, Steve Carell would probably have some problems to get some respect, in a school, for example...

Most of the self-dev industry is despicable, preying on vulnerable people because they are easier targets from whom to empty bank accounts. It's the ethical equivalent of assaulting old people. Disgusting

When the Google glass came out, the idea was to find the successor of the highly annoying and non-practical smartphone. But it failed. Humane may be onto something with its AI Pin, directly inspired from....Her, of course, likely the movie that best predicted the future of tech and how it...

How to not give up. 1. Realize that anything of value is difficult to get. Anything. 2. Realize that when you're going through hardship, it means you're making progress and getting closer to getting what you desire. To quote Churchill: "when you're going through hell, keep walking".

How would you improve your mindset?

    HOT! MINDSET
Mindset follows action, not the other way around. You feel good as a result of making a sale. As a result of asking that girl out. As a result of etc.

Exactly, it makes society more productive and creates more wealth for everyone. - Bartender (yes, yes, we have the tech to replace them, but bartenders provide human comfort, not drinks) - Receptionist (same as above) - Psychologist - Priest - Nurse - Security guard - Policemen - The guy at...

I see Musk said AI would takeover all jobs at some point. It's false. Not only is the amount of work in the world not capped, some jobs will never be replaced because these jobs specifically demand a human to do them.

This is a great post. I want to highlight what Fox said: it's insanely important to figure out what your audience wants to know/see/hear/consume.

I've had a discussion about capitalism with two PhDs in medicine doing cancer research. These people are smart, much smarter than I ever will be. They did not understand that capitalism is not a zero-sum game. They believe that because they are rich, someone must necessarily have to be poor...

Short marketing lesson. This ad is near perfect. The pic shows the real desired outcome of getting a master degree (social status). In only a few words, the copy removes the main barriers of consumption of the product (namely exams + presence).
