    GOLD! HOT! IDEA
Okay, this is a "gray" kind of an idea, but a lot of businesses can pay a lot for it. When selling d2d, one of the best ways to increase your closing rate is by using social leverage: "I did ABC for John, so since I'm already here, I can do it for you too." Make a database for D2D salespeople...

Quitting coffee won't help you be energized. I was a non-believer to coffee for a long time, and as I recently figured out, it was for no reason at all. Just don't drink it after 2pm (ask ChatGPT why, it's about caffeine half-time) Just as a note. Also, try D2D sales positions. It could lead...

    Your living situation sucks

    HOT! MINDSET
BS. I've heard a number of guys who went to army thinking that "that's where disciplined men are", and what they found were people who played a bunch of videogames and similar. To top it off, those guys aren't smart either. I've yet to hear of a man who went to army because he was smart... My...

Life decisions: am I doing the right things?

    MINDSET
I'll need 1600$/mo for every month in the next 12 months as I will have my degree. But working full-time, I get 5-6k/mo, assuming smooth sailing. it's actually less than 5-6k as I've spent at least 1.5k in the last month of equipment/ads... but anyway, that's of little importance now.

Life decisions: am I doing the right things?

    MINDSET
Regarding the tech that I'm building - no matter the tech - My underlying rule I use is "if there are people spending money on this, and technology can cut their spending, I can take 30-50% of the savings I'm bringing." Which what I heard from other successful entrepreneurs - and tech is the...

Life decisions: am I doing the right things?

    MINDSET
One reason why I'm doing a Master's is because of visa: I'm an immigrant and a degree in AI can open doors anywhere. Or so my family led me to believe. Either way, I'd rather do AI/ML than clean windows full time (dreaming of it every day when doing it). I'm at 5k/mo, actually, if I work 6 days...

Life decisions: am I doing the right things?

    MINDSET
Yes, that's a thread I've been noticing too for the last, at least, 6 month. But where do I go from here? My reasoning is about: """ People say that it's worthy chasing hard problems, In addition, if I solve hard problems, no matter how small, I can become a successful academic, and that is a...

Life decisions: am I doing the right things?

    MINDSET
Sup, I've been making what seems like a lot of mistakes recently. Nothing is going quite well. I may be doing the wrong things. Could somebody audit my decisions? Starting point: 1.5 years ago I've quit a likely winning product for a new one and after struggling for 1 year, I realized I won't...

    Your living situation sucks

    HOT! MINDSET
I see everyone is against Johhny Boy, but I have been alone for long enough to want being here alone anymore. No, I can and I can be like this for years, but very recently just a few people I've spoke to have put me onto ideas I wouldn't get otherwise. The business venture I've switched to...

How does the merchant class/entreprenuers deal with conflicts, crisis and today's rough economy and tense political situation?

    OFF-TOPIC CHAT
OP, keep in mind that if you listen people whose primary business is news and broadcasting, keep in mind that their real business is selling your attention, and they will make everything to hoard as much of it as possible. And all the derivatives from this.

    CHAT - AI -
Folks, why do I see many of you trying to do business decisions with AI? LLMs have been proven to work poorly on business decisions, e.g. here LLMs have lost all money operating a vending machine business, multiple times. In addition, you seem to try using Gemini which is notoriously the worst...

    Scaling an exterior cleaning business

    EXECUTION
No I didn't, but I've incorporated. Most window cleaners here are tradespeople who worked for years and they don't have insurance. I think there is only a handful of big companies even in Dublin. The reason I incorporated was to show immigration police that "hey, this immigrant isn't actually...
