    Thoughts on WordPress for eCommerce?

    Thoughts on WordPress for eCommerce?

    WEB/DIGITAL
No, Wordpress is NOT a great option for running multiple stores with dozens, or hundreds, or thousands of products. If you really need that functionality, Magento is the only platform I know that does it well. Magento is VERY powerful, very complex, and very hard to program for. We're working...

How to be a millionaire (STEP by STEP)

    HOT! EXECUTION
Nice article. Regarding this statement, there are a handful of people here who have become a millionaire by doing one thing, and most advocate it's better to kill it in on industry/business then spread yourself thin among ten different industries. That being said, how did you manage to have...

Portable Photo Studio - I am impressed

    HOT!
Yes - it's all about the lighting. The iPhone can capture some amazing shots with the right lighting. And it's more than hi-res enough to use for web. Now if I can only get strobes to flash with the iPhone shutter....haha.

Example? You usually end up cropping out the background 90% of the time.

Not in my experience they don't. I have a bunch of product shots where the product fades out. It's a NIGHTMARE to crop on white, and looks awful to boot. I like my products in focus, and sharp.

Yeah it can get real expensive real fast. But in reality, you don't need a lot of expensive gear to shoot pretty good photos. I've never had good experiences with the real cheap lighting, so I'll definitely be paying attention to this thread.

Portable Photo Studio - I am impressed

    HOT!
Vig/Dave - I've used the HDR mode on the iPhone 5, but not for product shots. If you have GOOD lighting, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to take good photos with the iPHone as long as you have a tripod (or stand of some sort). If you want to take a couple, and shoot them over to me, I'll...

    New 2013 Lamborghini Veneno Unveiled

    MINDSET
Not a fan. Plus it's one of their ultra-exclusive cars. I think the Aventador is the sexiest car on the road (coupe and roadster), followed by the 458.

Need some help with my first Real Estate Investment

    REAL ESTATE
So I'm prequalified for a 285k-300k home with a 3.75-3.85% interest rate. I currently own no Real Estate. My goal is to buy a house, preferably 2-4 bedroom (as an investment), and rent all but one bedroom out that will hopefully pay my mortgage and maybe even be cash flow positive. Doable? And...

    Loving the 2013 G's

    OFF-TOPIC
You're probably right about it being a European thing. The newer cars I've driven have all been F1/paddle shifted. I'd be you'd be hard pressed to find a manual murci, gallardo, F430, etc.

    Loving the 2013 G's

    OFF-TOPIC
I've never driven a Golf, but all the American Cars' gear patterns I've driven are 1,2,3,4,5,6,R etc (close to it, my Subaru WRX STI's reverse gear was a little bit different). The manual Ferraris and Lambos I've driven have 1,R,2,3,4,5,6. Kind of hard to explain, but makes for an awkward 1 to...

    Loving the 2013 G's

    OFF-TOPIC
I've driven a F430 a few times, and the paddle shifting was nothing but an amazing experience. I wouldn't want to go back to manual transmission after than (especially with the Ferrari/Lamborghini gated shifters with odd patterns).
