Happiness and Freedom. Stoicism and Entrepreneurship, the Parallel.

    MINDSET
This was a nice and unique insight. Something that I have noticed in my real life. Yep saw that thread right after I had replied in this thread. I completely agree with you 100%. Even Nietzsche has said the same things about stoicism. Anyway, if I may ask, what philosophy do you follow that is...

    Thoughts on Stoicism?

    MINDSET
Very late reply to the thread but EXACTLY what I have been thinking. Your and @Black_Dragon43 s post completely resonate with me. After reading stoicism at first, I became the so called 'stoic'. But however, the more I read about it the more I realize its shortages. I think its good if a person...

Happiness and Freedom. Stoicism and Entrepreneurship, the Parallel.

    MINDSET
Just found this thread posted 6 years ago and its absolutely gold. However, after reading some stoic philosophy (mostly articles, discourses of Epictetus and a bit of Meditations) one of the problem that I think with stoicism is that WE JUST GIVE UP CONTROL ON A LOT OF THINGS. Like in stoicism...

Launching my first business at 15 - Chronicling the process

    EXECUTION

    MINDSET
Well perhaps you are right. But what I mean by being 'humble' is to not act like I am an expert in the Unscripted life just because I read about it, without having any experience of it. Maybe I have got the definition of humility wrong. I do not mean seeing myself as 'below' others, but as MJ...

Hey folks, time for a story! So, after I read The Millionaire Fastlane (MFL) , I got my hands on Unscripted. In Unscripted, there's a part about school, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. Teachers and parents, they're living by the script and want us to do the same, which is kinda average. My...
