Starting a Copywriting Freelance Business. How well do I sell myself?
HOT! SIDE HUSTLEMy copy of cashvertising actually just shipped. Should be here by June 7th :). Pretty pumped to give it a read. This is very valuable. Thank you. That is something that I, myself, need to learn to do a bit more. Sell. Not just myself, but also whatever I create. I am trying to decide if...- jramos02

Starting a Copywriting Freelance Business. How well do I sell myself?
HOT! SIDE HUSTLEA lot of golden nuggets in this thread so far. Question for the general group - wouldn't copywriting still be a worthy skill to have? Seems like Copywriting, Marketing, and potentially Selling are skills that are very helpful in the entrepreneur world. Or would those skills be better to...- jramos02

Burned down my slowlane political career for entrepreneurship 17 months ago
SLOWLANE EXECUTIONThis is basically me. Outgoing introvert. Definitely love my alone time and just playing videogames at times. Being around people, specially a lot of people, can be exhausting at times. I live in a big city so that affects it. Keep at it though - you are only getting started and you are off to...- jramos02

Burned down my slowlane political career for entrepreneurship 17 months ago
SLOWLANE EXECUTION@Cat Lady your journey so far has been amazing to follow in this short amount of time (that you have been sharing it). Really inspiring. What you mentioned about not having co-workers is actually a concern of mine. Has always been. But on the other hand, they do tire me out at times and...- jramos02

Burned down my slowlane political career for entrepreneurship 17 months ago
SLOWLANE EXECUTION@Cat Lady these are awesome updates. Seems like things are definitely looking up and your jump to entrepreneurship has been an intense but a fun one! What has been your favorite thing from having made the jump? Also, is there a way we can find out what the book is? :) Keep it up! And math...- jramos02

Stop Watching the News!
MINDSETNews have always seemed like a waste of time to me. They just talk about things that will scare me to death and depress me to hell. Specifically because it is things I have no control over. If something is important enough I will hear about it. If not, then it doesn't matter in the first place.- jramos02

What if I don't have a have a meaning and purpose?
MINDSET@biophase said it best - your only motivator there is to become an actor. Some of your "why's" aren't really why's. Why do you need those things to start dating? Or taking care of your health? Or buying things? Also, why do you need to buy things in the first place? That's consumerism...- jramos02

From Engineer, to Product Manager, to...?
INTROAppreciate the kind words @SouthernCharm. I have tried multiple things throughout my life (2 self published books, around 5 different websites, 2 podcasts, and more). Nothing has truly stuck. Either I get bored of them quickly, or they just don't pan out. Obviously I didn't start them with the...- jramos02

INTROYeah SaaS or apps seems to be the most scalable where time doesn't necessarily need to be exchanged for money. Looking forward to your progress too man!- jramos02

Leasing an office vs working from home
MINDSETI haven't been through this myself just yet. But apart from what people said above regarding clients, it might be worth having a designated "work area" at home. Just finished reading "Willpower Doesn't Work" and one of the main points the author makes is how important our environment is. If...- jramos02

INTROThanks Drew! Definitely excited to get the ball rolling. I am leaning towards potentially learning and doing some copywriting, since I enjoy writing as well. SaaS is obviously very interesting to me as well. What are you looking into doing?- jramos02

Ask Me Anything About App Business (100+ Apps, 10M+ Downloads, 1 Liquidity Event)
AMAHi @BrooklynHustle , this thread has been awesome and thank you for taking the time to do so. I have some good experience in apps as a product manager and I was wondering - do you need help from a Product Manager? Helping figure out what to build for the apps and help with assigning the tasks...- jramos02

From Engineer, to Product Manager, to...?
INTROHey everyone! I've always been a dreamer but also a doer. I read the TMF like 6 years ago and I tried a few things but nothing totally stuck. I wasn't really ready. Fastforward to today and I am listening to Unscripted (freaking amazing so far) and I've also realized that I don't totally...- jramos02
