    @Aurelius You've got a deep habit loop happening here. The first step in beating this is to recognize what's going on. The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg Get this book. Read it. Work through the action steps. From what I can tell, this book is your answer.

    Totally right. Agreed. Until it's your paycheck. Wage garnishment is a form of disciplinary action mostly. Not all the time, but mostly that's what it's used for. Now it may be used differently in my case, but psychologically it doesn't matter. It's perceived as a punitive action. Or at least...
