    Runum's 5000th post

    MINDSET
First of all, congrats on the 5K post! :) I think this forum is amazing even today, so if it was better back then I can't even imagine. I wish there was a way to search for and filter by posts between certain dates or years but the search doesn't allow us to do that. Mods - is there way to...

Is monogamy a thing of the past?

    HOT! PEOPLE
dknise, I hear what you're saying because I have been in your shoes. The people who have never been cheated on are usually the ones who are quick to give advice like "get over it", or "big deal". I'm not by the way trying to belittle the other people who have commented in this thread. I am just...

Finally, my app hit the app store!

    WEB/DIGITAL
That is very exciting. I haven't followed your progress all along but, do you have plans for an Android version? Speed+ for following through and making sure it happened.

    2013 Beer & Pancakes

    MEETUPS
Damn.. that sort of stuff should inspire more people to show up for sure. By the way - where did all those people go? 9 out of 10 in that old thread no longer seem active here at all.

    2013 Beer & Pancakes

    MEETUPS
I will try to make it to this. :) What are the other things we should know, like fees, etc. Are there decent hotels/motels in the nearby area where people normally stay?

Where are some good sources to find needs to fill?

Speed+ for taking things to heart and listening to the advice. Again like I said above - people on this forum here are not out to put anyone down or try to flaunt their success. We are all a nice group of people here, and if we do make criticism or remarks that may seem harsh at first - it is...

Where are some good sources to find needs to fill?

Dude, if you read Vigilante's post up there - you see that he has a point. He wasn't trying to put you down or remind you how well he is doing. If you read between the lines and the verbal criticism as you call it - you will see that he is trying help you. Sometimes we all need that kick in the...

Any adwords guys? Need QS help!

    WEB/DIGITAL
Cool. Let us know how it goes. Also make sure you have disabled the Display Network. It's on by default, so it's a common mistake to leave it on.

Hello from an older new guy

Welcome aboard, and prepare to enjoy an excellent book. :) As far as being 'old', I think there is a good mix in this forum of younger and older people.

Any adwords guys? Need QS help!

    WEB/DIGITAL
You really should be. :) Phrase and exact almost always converts much better than broad. And also - if you are using only broad, make sure to also use a good list of negative keywords. If not, this will certainly hurt your CTR and conversion rate as well. What I mean by negatives are: If your...

Any adwords guys? Need QS help!

    WEB/DIGITAL
I really doubt this will affect your QS. Google actively encourages users to utilize all match types so why would they penalize advertisers using them? Not calling you a liar or anything, but I'd love to see a source for this if you have it. I would venture to say that your QS drop must have...

How much did it affect your CPC's when this happened? Assuming nothing else changed on your landing pages, etc. I would agree to check the bounce rate and load time as well.
