xShepherdx's Progress Thread: Building A Fastlane Business
HOT! EXECUTIONDoes anyone have a reliable WordPress developer they could put me in touch with? I just need occasional bug fixes and changes made to my site that ChatGPT can't implement correctly. It's a relatively simple eCommerce site so nothing crazy. Probably just a few easy hours a month. I've hired a...- xShepherdx

xShepherdx's Progress Thread: Building A Fastlane Business
HOT! EXECUTIONSo, a while back I posted that a celebrity had bought my product. For context, this person is HUGE in my niche and a bad experience with my shop could be a death sentence for my little company. Hell, this person is huge everywhere. Even my parents and grandparents knew of them. I did NOT want...- xShepherdx

xShepherdx's Progress Thread: Building A Fastlane Business
HOT! EXECUTIONMy goal for May was to profitably break $4k in revenue. That's too easy. My goal now is to profitably crush $6k in revenue - or roughly double my previous high. That's only ~$194 in revenue per day. I've been well over that for the last few days. All I have to do is keep up the momentum. To...- xShepherdx

HOT! EXECUTION"Our lives are frittered away with detail. Simplify, simplify," - Henry David Thoreau. I went from a huge spreadsheet with multiple tabs and calculators to this simple tracking sheet: Hyperlinks lead to the relevant data source for each metric. Blue boxes are inputs. Purples are inputs from...- xShepherdx

HOT! EXECUTIONWoocommerce, FB Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and Klaviyo. Right now I'm doing the caveman method of filtering the data on each platform and manually inputting that into a spreadsheet each that time I want to see a certain metric. I hadn't considered just doing an export for each platform...- xShepherdx

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATSome well-known celebrities have recently bought products from my shop. Or at least it appears that way based on their provided info (First name, email, payment details). This is new territory for me and I'd appreciate hearing what people with experience have found to work. Does anyone have a...- xShepherdx

VOTE NOW!Great idea, I’d love to participate in a call like this. Everyone else’s suggestions are good but I’ll go ahead and in throw in my own as well. Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHAT"Work" is probably not the best term to define what they're looking for. It seems like many of them are 1) lazy and want easy money or 2) are scammers. Probably more of the first one, to give them some credit. My dad was a career firefighter in a large department and explained the hiring...- xShepherdx

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATSturgeon's law says that "ninety percent of everything is crap". What's crazy is that the difference between the bottom 90% and the top 10% usually ends up being a pretty small difference. For example, today I'm going through the process of hiring a developer on Upwork to do some contract work...- xShepherdx

What book are you reading? Right now. Post up!
NOTABLE! HOT! BOOKS CHATJust finished "How To Get Rich" by Felix Dennis, and honestly... This was one of the best books on business that I've ever read. It was a fun read filled with loads of wisdom and lessons woven in. I couldn't put it down - except to take loads and loads of notes! Similar to MJ's books, you can...- xShepherdx

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer
- AI -Thanks to ChatGPT, I've developed a fierce distaste for YouTube tutorials / "how to" videos. Why? Instead of watching someone talk for 10 minutes and MAYBE getting my question answered/problem solved, I can get the same information summed up in like 5 easy to read paragraphs. Then, if I have...- xShepherdx

For those who haven't made a sale yet...
NOTABLE! HOT! CHATIf I was to 100% restart today with zero knowledge, cash, or ideas, I would steal @biophase gummy bear/art idea that was detailed in the thread and just get something going using the framework that Lex has provided. In my experience, taking that first step and getting something out there for...- xShepherdx

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATIt's not just self-development - it's everywhere. Laziness and entitlement seem to have been made virtues in our culture. Nobody wants to take responsibility for their lives. It's someone else's fault. Everyone wants someone else to do the work for them. Everyone wants to do the absolute...- xShepherdx
