Opinion for starting a web agency

Everything is possible if you are good. If you have the skills, get your feet wet as a freelancer. When you land a paying customer and get some good feedback, start the process of creating an agency. It can be a nice way to earn your income being self-employed.

Is my side hustle applicable to CENTS?

I don't think a CENTS analysis applies to what you are after... Your side hustle is not about creating value or solving problems. It's about gaming the system. I am not talking against it though. If you are sure about your numbers and that you can have financial independence through betting, by...

Judge My Idea: Brain Training App - Memory Training

    IDEA
My worry about this is that you are going to end up having an app that is a good 10 min waste of time with literally no benefit. People tend to memorize differently, which may be the reason why everybody uses those cookie-cutter mind training apps for 5 minutes and deletes them afterwards...

Going after big problems vs building realistic, profitable solutions

    FTE
Haha that must have sounded like the worst excuse of all time. I am originally from Greece so I meant Greece. The UK is without a doubt a great place to start a business. But in terms of copying existing models from the US, we really have everything here. Even paleo food subscription boxes!

Going after big problems vs building realistic, profitable solutions

    FTE
Some great points. @Digamma : Maybe that's the best path after all. Be financially independent by going after any kind of solvable problem, in the process getting all the valuable skills. Later on, if your life's mission is to solve world-changing problems, you already have the skills and...

Going after big problems vs building realistic, profitable solutions

    FTE
A lot of high-level entrepreneurs suggest trying to solve really big problems. Let's talk about how this compares to handling smaller problems which have a clearer path to a solution and financial independence. It appears that to solve a big problem, you need a co-founding team and venture...

A journey to freedom from alarm clocks

    EXECUTION
Trying not to be negative, but this is a personal journal so I guess I can be honest about my situation. Generally, I thrive when I have a clear direction and know what I am doing. During this period, I feel a bit lost. It helps to publicly admit that my planning and prioritizing sucks...

    Any BJJ folks on here?

    HEALTH
Yes! Went to a class in January and even though I got injured by a takedown, I loved it. I now train consistently with a blue belt friend and in a few months when I move near a proper gym I will start regular classes. Except for all the physical and mental benefits, you also get the calmness...

Built SaaS Website Creation Tool. What do you guys think?

    SAAS / APPS
Get a freelance designer to remake this from scratch. It will be worth the money. Don't try to do everything yourself or your run the risk of invalidating your idea out of poor exectution.

A journey to freedom from alarm clocks

    EXECUTION
Excited to report some freelancing success. Cold-emailed a business owner whose website looked like it needed a major redesign. Since we are in the same field and I have actually used his products, he responded warmly. Got on the phone, addressed a bunch of concerns and after a bit of time and...

A journey to freedom from alarm clocks

    EXECUTION
After about 20 proposals, patterns have started to emerge. All I have received back is one interview, which made clear that the task is disproportionately difficult for the money offered, so I withdrew the proposal.
