    Vacant warehousing space near zero

    SOURCING
I'm not sure about the sale of warehouses, but this was my experience when looking to lease warehousing space.

WINTER IS COMING: European Winter of '22

    HOT! OFF-TOPIC
Unless that fat a$$ got subsidies, then the only reason you have power to turn on your computer and write this message is because of that "fat a$$." I'm assuming it isn't the energy companies' fault that many European countries made stupid political moves. It is in spite of the stupid policies...

    Vacant warehousing space near zero

    SOURCING
I used a company that matches warehouses with businesses that need warehousing space. This company apparently screens all the warehousing companies before allowing them into their network. I was looking specifically for a public warehouse where I could leverage the infrastructure of an already...

Build a Fastlane Business in Africa

    INTRO
Africa is a resource-rich continent. The rest of the world would benefit from the export of African resources. The difficulty with Africa is the lack of logistics partially due to the lack of adequate transport from the interior of Africa to the coastlines where things can be shipped to the rest...

WINTER IS COMING: European Winter of '22

    HOT! OFF-TOPIC
It looks like European Aluminum manufacturers are near the brink of closure. Once the pots used to produce Aluminum goes back to room temperature, it takes tens of millions of dollars and months to bring Aluminum plants back online. Aluminum manufacturing is very energy intensive. If these...

    Vacant warehousing space near zero

    SOURCING
@Antifragile Nice looking warehouse! A 0.4% vacancy rate, I'm glad I am not looking for warehousing space in Vancouver at the moment! Those warehouses look quite similar in size and style to what I was originally looking to lease. I just realized trying to get GMP and FDA compliant while...

    Import/Export to India

    SOURCING
UPDATE: Since it is labor day weekend, I thought I could spend some time writing an update as I have some extra time on my hands. It is getting close to the time when I will be having samples shipped out. Ideally, samples would already be shipped out, but a roadblock has slowed things down. I...

    Vacant warehousing space near zero

    SOURCING
Recently, I have been calling numerous public warehousing companies who would be willing to store some biotech products on the East Coast of the United States. Originally I started reaching out to 5 public warehouses that spanned three different states. Aside from the fact that I learned many of...

Solve Your Motivational Woes: ‘Bout That Life Bootcamp

    MINDSET
Great post! For myself, I realized that working a job that I hate was more difficult for me to mentally grapple with than deticating time to starting a business. I started about 6 months ago, working towards getting this business set up properly. At first, I would notice that a whole week...

    Retainer + Commission?

    MARKETING SIDE HUSTLE
I doubt there is a set rate. You need to balance out what the value for each sign up is vs giving the marketing team enough of an incentive to want to continue getting more signups. Run some numbers, you should know how many signs up convert to become paying customers and what the average...

Best Instagram Accounts to follow for Business?

    MINDSET
Are you really making meaningful connections over social media? Unless you are trying to build a social media presense for business reasons I find it unlikely that you will be "productive" on a social media platform like Instagram. If you want to use Instagram, that is fine. Just don't...

24 Yo, Asperger and suicidal, my last hope are to change my life.

    INTRO
I don't want to rehash what people have said as I generally agree with most everything here. If you need to reach out to anyone, send me a DM. Even if it is just to say hi. It sounds like you need a group of people around you to support you even for just a little while. You cannot live a happy...

How do I source a manufacturer

    SOURCING
If it were me, I would purchase the foam from a wholesaler/retailer to create your product first. You don't need to source directly from the manufacturer as their MOQ would presumably be way higher than what you would need to start out. If your product works out well and you need to purchase...

Just Started my Service Based Business!

    EXECUTION
I agree. Go door to door. Your neighbors will be the easiest to service as you can walk the lawn mower down the street. When you can't find any more customers door-to-door then try paid advertising with the money you made. You can also go to local businesses who has a bulletin and ask if you...

    Father-figure abandonment and entrepreneurship...

I wonder if this reason stems from the mental callouses that are built from adversity and being in discomfort due to a single income. Maybe it comes from wishing to help your single parent quickly pay off their debt and realzing that a $10/hr job won't cut it.

What would you do if you inherited a piece of land

    IDEA
It certainly depends on who is in the local area, but I would look at warehousing/distributing of product that the local businesses use. I would go business to business and ask if they would be intrested in buying certain products pertaining to their business if the cost is right and would see...

    Road to $100 Million

    EXECUTION
This video by Dan Pena on obtaining lines of credit is a game changer. A paradigm shift. Go watch. I'm only now just getting my business up and running. I currently have no need for capital, but I can see if all goes well that access to capital will be important... obviously. Getting in front...

a little DeMarco a day, keeps the...Trello at bay?

    OFF-TOPIC
Unless you are using this to teach yourself code, why would you do this? MJ hasn't posted in 4 months on youtube. It seems like a whole bunch of work when you can just hop on Youtube once a week to check for any new videos. As said before, if you are just trying to learn code, go for it. But...
