SEO for dummies - A thread that can help everyone!

    MARKETING
Sure sounds like a walking cliche title but here is something I try to do for every (marketing) client I have that will boost your page views and help your SEO rankings a lot. Rule #1 It is simple and requires no effort but Google loves it, why because its run by google. So what better way to...

Dude you need to take two steps back. I will gladly give up a few minutes of my time to discuss this with you in a PM and help you with the design. Why, cause I am an attention whore and just love your validation. Seriously though stop bitching like an 8th grade girl who couldnt get tickets to...

Bringing a new product to market

Have you researched the patent process? I really think this is your best bet. If you can get that you are 3 steps ahead of the gang. But as you said marketing and branding are literally going to put you ahead of the gang if done right. What I would do is build a brand and show this brand to...

New website in the works. Tell me what you think!!

    HOT!
If you want my honest opinion, I looked at it, read some big bold stuff, saw your design disliked it, I mean that color is like throw up, then clicked one link, didnt even stay on the other page for one second (your welcome for not increasing your bounce rate), then got off your site. 1. Design...

I completely agree, just think it needs to be organized. As for sharing details. What can you possibly share that will hurt. I also don't have insiders, I would/should, just honestly lazy haha wanted to be on this for a month first. Anyways lets have a good amount of people. I say 15+ to...

Well yes, mike, it is there disadvantage. But technically this is based off the percentage of sales you make from day one. So technically a newbie can make 1mX their startup cost and win in two months. Anything is technically possible. I think the 28th of every month [we got you feb ;) ] we...

Did the research for you, w/o a domain and just getting a name From the fiverr naming company I described.... sleekname left you a message in your inbox: "Michael, Absolutely we do that a lot for customers. If we do not have to verify against domain names we will double the names and make...

Hello from Denver - self publishing success

    GOLD!
Interesting observation, wish there was a larger study on this. But you may be right. At the same time is it necessary to have the same amount of sales for 1 book at 8.99 as one at 2.99 to have same total. Prob not, but I guess it looks 10x better to have 100000 downloads on the 2.99 than 1/3 of...

Hello from Denver - self publishing success

    GOLD!
I have a problem with this price. Why are you making it so cheap. Is your brand like walmarts where you are the cheapest? Why are you not selling 4 books for the price of $10... and then (what I call the puppy sale) slash it off and actually just sell for 8$... By having the original price be...

    Fastlane Competition 2

Question, having no rules for entry is kind of dumb. I can just say yea I want to use my main company, already established, branded, and everything. I put 0$ into it, and if I make even just one sale I have 5000% increase in sales if I make two... so forth and so forth. Kind of unfair to the...

If that is good, damn don't even look at my book. 30 pages ~4000 words and priced at 4.99. I want to go hard go home the price. If I see in a week I am not getting sales, than I will reduce it to 3.99 but I am not sure. As for KDP I think you solved my issue thanks COS but I am sorry that...

I tried to, but I designed an image that is horizontal rather than vertical :( If I wanted to lock aspect ratio it would still have the same issue. Nothing I can really do about it. I still have received great comments from people I know about it, so I'm sure it isn't too bad. I will see what I...

If I am launching my app end of the month/beginning next month does that count? Would I have to create yet another venture? Oh what about my clothing company that I am also launching in a few months? (Major stuff still needs work, but I got the branding (ish) down)... What are the overall entry...

I also want to know what your results are with KDP select. How much are you selling for and did you find that having it for free in the beginning of your production help or hurt you?

How is your sex life during your pursuit of millions?

    HOT! PEOPLE
Ravens I think that post was brilliantly said. I personally can attest to that, if I was able to find a partner that was on the same mindset as I was, then why wouldn't I pursue it. But sadly, I am only 20 years old and still in college. 90% of the females I meet are either in school or a club...
