"follow your bliss" (after having read all the above responses). Whether you expand on your current channel or new ones as Carrie suggests - someone somewhere will enjoy your new types of comedy. Try it, see where it leads you.

    Any Expats in Bankok?

    OFF-TOPIC
Thanks Jake, it''s good to know people are OK and not too restricted. Having seen how busy with westerners some areas are, I'm not surprised at the lifting of the curfew. I'd not expect things to be as extreme as some nearby countries might be in such circumstances.

No, the picture is to remind me to either build a road around obstacles or keep digging away at them until they're gone :-) (But my next-door neighbour used to be very senior in CAT United Kingdom and he is pretty rich, so your question has given me another positive thing to remember when...

Name my Poop Shield - win money (at least $100)!

    HOT!
Are you planning to market in other countries - we know what a diaper is ('cos we watch so many American films and TV series) but in the UK we don't call it that...

    What does your avatar mean?

    OFF-TOPIC
[Edited] Now it reminds me that if you meet an obstacle you either move it a shovelful at a time, or build a road around it. @randomnumber314 - your go now! Thanks for this thread, hadn't realised how many people put much thought into the symbolism. [Mine says said "er... I need an avatar"...

"How he did it" news story about British Entrepreneur

Ah, I have an excellent ear and am very adaptable in this way, so you're asking the wrong person. Bannatyne's accent is not too extreme and easily understood by most of the UK population I'd guess (given that British TV these days does feature regional accents) - could be wrong. Like anywhere...

"How he did it" news story about British Entrepreneur

Right Amschel, your next vacation is to Scotland. You'll hear MUCH more impenetrable accents in the cities - and meet some very friendly people ;-) (I'm English, they'll welcome you more than me.)

"How he did it" news story about British Entrepreneur

Duncan Bannatyne is one of my oft-quoted ones, he was born working-class and his father once said to him, "Duncan, people like us don't start businesses". That one resonates with me, a mindset. This book is an easy read and probably a good one early on in an entrepreneur's journey...

    Any Expats in Bankok?

    OFF-TOPIC
Given the coup in Thailand, I was just curious if there are any forum members there right now? I think there are; just curious about how they are dealing with it if anyone cares to comment.

    Dead-End Sh*t Jobs ... Yours?

    NOTABLE!
I've had boring office jobs, but my brain was always designing systems for their stupid disorganised, inefficient workload. Got quite close to getting one outline design turned into a system (interviewed IT contractors and companies) but fell out with the a**h*le boss and it got shelved...they...

Now that is excellent "outside the box" thinking...like many of the posts in this thread. Inspires me just by reading them. Thank you all of you.

Hey, how many pizza place owners know about timelineslicer.com? I didn't, and like you say, they don't have time to do "Internet stuff" ;-)

[Free Giveaway] The Miracle Morning, by Hal Elrod

    BOOKS
I'm still getting 7-8 hours at the moment. I think I may experiment with it a bit when I've got the Miracle Morning habit firmly established - one habit at a time!

[Free Giveaway] The Miracle Morning, by Hal Elrod

    BOOKS
I've had this book - or rather the method espoused by Elrod - recommended to me by @AnneC and @FionaS I actually bought the "Journal" first and haven't read the book yet - it's on its way to me. Just ramping up this week after a weak start last week. I think it's the structure I've been...
