[PALEO LIFESTYLE] Exercise BEFORE or AFTER meal?
FTEI CONSCIOUSLY agree that the way we evolved has 100% consequences on how we live and thrive now. In the paleolithic times, as well as since then. Neanderthal evolution is just as important to me as more recent modern evolution. I'm interested in the paleo theory but I don't look at anything that...- DennisD

[PALEO LIFESTYLE] Exercise BEFORE or AFTER meal?
FTEI'm not talking about a "paleo diet", I'm talking about a "paleo lifestyle". Even if it's not popular vernacular... to clarify what I mean when I say "paleo lifestyle" I mean: eating, exercising, mating, socializing, and LIVING the way in which we evolved as a species. I don't care about what...- DennisD

[PALEO LIFESTYLE] Exercise BEFORE or AFTER meal?
FTERecently I've gotten really interested in human evolution and early-human lifestyle. This actually was born out of me trying to increase conversions and raise sales by tapping into primitive instincts, but that's a story for another thread. I've been thinking a lot about emulating...- DennisD

How Many Books Will You Publish in 2014?
PUBLISHINGI won't be writing any novels in 2014. If I split my focus off of castleforge I won't get anything done. No changing lanes until I get my exisiting business 90% systemized. But I see a lot of you saying "My audience likes ____" which makes me realize I need to do a lot more research. I want to...- DennisD

From Homeless to Not Homeless
Bullshit. I was in your EXACT same position 3 years ago, and then again a year ago, and then 3 years ago. No car, no computer, no money, debt past my eyeballs, no idea what to do, how to start... but with ambition. You can create revenue streams with $0 if you've got hustle and confidence. I...- DennisD

I work at Amazon...
OFF-TOPICNot sure what to ask because I'm unaware of what I don't know. Maybe you should start with an overview of your job description, what your average day looks like? Maybe any mistakes that business owners get wrong that could cause problems in the pipeline? thanks!- DennisD

Pepsi or Coke?
OFF-TOPICI was going to mention this book. Anybody interested in why coke won long-term should pick it up. While pepsi wins short-term, but coke wins the 'take home test'... which is why new coke failed so hard.- DennisD

The psychology behind the BEST damn car commercial
MARKETINGApple is a perfect example. The anti-coke one actually looks like it's using image inappropriate for their message. If somebody with a background in psychological advertising had produced that commercial it would look a lot different. Although I don't particularly agree with PETA's message...- DennisD

Online Digital Painting Tutorials.
You don't necessarily have to ditch the infoproduct idea entirely. I'd make the tutorials free (for now) and then sell a collection of your best stuff once you have 50-100 up. Many bloggers sell books which are just blog posts... you can do the same with tutorials. As for your 'premium'...- DennisD

Online Digital Painting Tutorials.
I think you need to "level up" your art a bit more before making a monetary grab with this. Going to your site and seeing free tutorials, and then seeing that you offer them also for cash is a turn off. I immediately want to leave. I feel that the tutorials you're giving away for free aren't...- DennisD

New sales video I made
What's the value a customer puts on saving their own life? People pay thousands of needless dollars every month on insurance. People spend fortunes on home security. If you market this the right way, you WILL generate interest. Mark up the price and scare them into buying it, is what I would...- DennisD

New sales video I made
I think it's a great idea. Props on getting the structure of the video down. You got all the pieces in place. It's set up logically, you've just got to play off emotions a bit better. Related video I just created/posted having to do with emotions in video...- DennisD

Non dot com names, brand suicide?
WEB/DIGITAL"VideoCopilot.net" creates dozens of products, hundreds of tutorials, and is the MOST popular site within the After Effects and Motion Graphics community. Twitter is being Floated on the NY Stock Exchange! $26 per stock!
I don't invest, never will, and have no idea what goes into it. Yet I theorize that the prices are sky high right now. There's going to be a huge 'scare' within a quarter, prices will drop, people on the news will talk about how twitter is dead, 'experts' giving their input on why it just...- DennisD

"I'm too good for that..."
It's also important to note the eventual distinction between :I'm too good for that" and "that's not worth my time", which are completely different. This is something my friends get confused with all the time. That a high profile, wealthy, entrepreneur doesn't do ____ because he's "too good"...- DennisD

Castleforge's Non-fiction Progress Thread
EXECUTIONIt's a little funny right? Money making methods that are totally being ignored. Ridiculous. It's like people enjoy working hard and making peanuts. I have actually considered completely deleting my site and my books from the face of the internet and just going rogue for a while. You may notice...- DennisD
